Great location just across from Trinity College and short walk to shops and restaurants. Use of a very nice fitness facility at the university just a quarter mile away as well as a smaller fitness facility in the hotel. Very nice breakfast.

Trinity City Hotel was such a fantastic hotel to experience Dublin. Centrally located, we were a hop, skip and a jump from Trinity College, Temple Bar, and within walking distance to everything else. We stayed in the courtyard suites which were nicely arranged and decorated. The breakfast buffet was great- however if you have early days planned, note that breakfast is not served until 7am. The staff was fantastic- especially Vincent who made check out and getting to the airport a breeze. I fell in love with Ireland and will most certainly be coming back to stay at Trinity City hotel!

We stayed 3 adults in the Georgian Family suite. We had to climb three floors but we didn’t mind that. The staff carried our luggage. The room was absolutely gorgeous. So comfortable and separated in two different “wings”. The amenities were superb. The Nespresso, the biscuits, the chocolates… the bathroom was spectacular. Towels soft and plentiful, so spacious and full of natural light. But the best thing of all was the location. Close to everything and yet still remote enough to get some peace and quiet after a long day of exploring. Cozy bar area with comfortable couches perfect for sipping a whiskey or an Irish Coffee.. would 1000% return.

I would not recommend this hotel. Before arriving, I requested an early check-in because my flight landed in the morning and paid an additional €50 for it. When I arrived, I was given a room that was clearly not the room I had booked. It was small, old, and not particularly clean. I returned to reception assuming it was a mistake, and was then told that my actual room was in the newer building but was not ready. After checking, the front desk informed me that the room would not be available until 3:00 PM, despite the fact that I had paid extra for early check-in and had arrived around noon. At that point, the only solutions offered were to either cancel my stay entirely or receive a refund for the early check-in fee. Having just arrived from an international flight, exhausted and jet-lagged, finding a new hotel was not a realistic option. The staff seemed completely indifferent to the inconvenience. When I finally received my room after 3:00 PM, I was extremely disappointed. The room was far smaller than advertised, looked nothing like the photos, and certainly did not feel luxurious. Overall, the customer service was poor, the early check-in service I paid for was not honored, and the room itself failed to meet expectations. It’s definitely not sound proof either. You can hear everything going on in the rooms next door, hallways and the wind whistling in from the patio door For the price charged over 2000 euros for 4 nights, I expected much better.

The interior design was beautiful, with lovely green accents throughout the hotel. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade and was given a spacious junior suite that was almost too large for one person! All of the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always greeted me with a smile, which made my stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Thanks to this hotel, I enjoyed my trip to Dublin even more and came away with an even greater appreciation for the city. I would happily recommend this hotel to my friends and would love to stay here again in the future.
