We stayed in the king suite with its own gigantic private balcony facing the beautiful Lake Como. It was heavenly. Breakfast in the garden restaurant was excellent. Well run hotel with friendly staff. Highly recommended to my friends.

The hotel rooms are extremely small and feel quite cramped, making it difficult for a couple to comfortably unpack and spread out their belongings. The staff, particularly some of the bartenders and security personnel, came across as unfriendly and unwelcoming. During breakfast, I was asked more than five times whether I was actually staying at the hotel, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. The breakfast service was also very slow. On multiple occasions, coffee arrived so late that I had nearly finished eating by the time it was served. Overall, the property feels overpriced for what it offers and could benefit from some much-needed updates and maintenance. The one major positive is the location, which is very convenient and makes it easy to explore the area. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not justify the price, and I would not choose to stay here again.

Probably the best location possible in Como, literally right across the street from the ferries. Rooms do not have coffee makers. Internet did not work in our room, even after having the it guy come to our room. TV’s in room are very small.

Great location on the lake and right across from the ferry. Center of everything else in Como. The place is beautiful. Our room was upgraded and very very nice . It was clean and the staff was incredibly helpful. Highly recommended.

The location of the property was amazing. The restaurant was such a beautiful setting overlooking the water. Morning breakfast was excellent. Evening drinks in the cozy atmosphere were great. The staff was so helpful with any questions we had. Truly made the stay In Como all that much better.

Everything about this property was wonderful. The fact that it had parking made things very convenient. The welcome reception was lovely and the room was small which was expected, had an absolutely gorgeous view of the lake. Despite the hotel’s beautiful location, my stay was extremely disappointing. I was devastated to be given possibly the worst room in the hotel. A ‘superior double’ on level 2 (number 212). It faces the side street, so close to the pavement that I could hear every passer by throughout the night. At 5.45am you have the noise from the street cleaners, local shops, deliveries etc making it impossible to sleep! On top of that, the live entertainment from the bar was so loud in my room until late that I had to put on noise cancelling headphones to get some peace. One curtain could not be fully closed because there was no rail?! This felt both cheap and careless - allowing street lights to shine into the room all night. The bathroom offered no better privacy or comfort, so I ended up showering with the lights off. The wardrobe randomly had no handles?! so I really struggled to open it… Dinner was ok, I particularly enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake and they have a nice selection of wines. After reading previous reviews I was disappointed to find the reception staff unfriendly when I was leaving, which only reinforced the poor impression left by the stay. Although maybe if I had had better sleep I wouldn’t have minded so much. It is such a shame, because I was genuinely excited about this stay and although the setting is lovely, after this experience and the worst nights sleep I’ve had in a long time, I would not return.

The staff at the hotel were all SO wonderful and kind and helpful. The ladies at the front desk helped us with all of our needs. From bus schedules to things to do. The room itself was clean and spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. We had a king sized bed (which is rare in Europe). Breakfast every morning was delicious. The location is perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!
