Overall a good place to stay, within walking distance of the central train station and all the major attractions. The hotel is small but adequate, as are the rooms. Breakfast is very good. It is very clear that the staff members are proud of providing a good experience. Our only incident was losing hotel WiFi for almost a day, and the front desk insisting that they were not at fault - my phone and iPad were at fault. Later that day the front desk told us that a fault had been found and maintenance was fixing it. No apology for incorrect information earlier in the day. In retrospect not a major problem.

Hotel was clean and conveniently located near to the train station. Room was large, bed comfortable. It was very noisy on the street even with the windows closed but that is to be expected in an older property. The breakfast was plentiful and varied.

This hotel was less than “okay”. It was a good location and the staff was very nice. But the rooms and overall building were not well maintained and were not clean. The water in the shower took FOREVER to get hot. If you’re simply just looking for a place to lay your head, this hotel will do. But if you are wanting more out of your stay, more comfort, amenities and a clean place, I would not recommend.

Here’s a polished version that keeps your tone but reads a little smoother: I believe we upgraded for the breakfast, and honestly, unless you’re paying for the convenience, I wouldn’t recommend it. In my opinion, it wasn’t worth it when there are much better and very inexpensive options close by. The room also wasn’t as clean as I would have liked. It lacked simple things like tissues and a shower cap, and the patio and bathroom walls were never cleaned during our stay. That said, the front desk staff was very friendly, and the location near the train station could definitely be helpful depending on your needs.

We had the room cleaned everyday. The hotel and furniture are a little outdated. My complaint is on the exhaust. It just doesn’t work. The toilet gets fogged up after taking a shower. But we can live with that. The shower drain clogged up at the start of our stay. The toilet floor was flooded as a result. We told hotel staff about this and they addressed this asap. The room temperature was comfortable. Overall, it was a good stay. The hotel is located in a central area. It is closed to Mercato Centrale and the duomo. It is also close to the Santa Maria Novella train station where you can travel via trams, train or buses. There is a tourist information at the Santa Maria Novella Church where you can get a map of the city.

Room was nice, clean and cozy. Sink drained slowly due to hair being trapped in the sink drain. However, after checking out and receiving my car back from the recommended parking (S. Antonio Garage) by the front desk agent, our bag and gifts had been removed. i hope that you will look into better security for the guest that decide to stay at your property and using the recommended parking suggested by you staff.
