Pesaro Palace

Lovely hotel right on the Grand Canal and with a water bus stop right in front. Rooms were cool in temp with comfortable beds, shower was good pressure. The breakfast was excellent and varied. A beautiful lobby and outdoor courtyard, Lots of shops and restaurants in neighborhood.

The staff was excellent. The rooms are modest. We were on the top floor and are two tall people. So we had an issue with the really low ceilings. Also our daughters in the other room never had ac that worked. It might have been because we were both on the top floor. But overall it is a great location and loved the recommendations by the staff.

Book elsewhere for better experience. Upon checking in (early evening) the staff was rather rushed to get us our room key and out of her way. Not overly kind. This property is very far away from the main entry bridge. When we entered the room it appeared the cleaning crew forgot to clean out the ice box from the prior guests stay…. Old pizza, bottle’s, and food waste smudged all over it. The room was gorgeous, high ceilings, the bed was comfortable, but the room was in poor shape. The toilet seat was completely off the toilet, the baseboard was partially falling off the walls, and the heating element fell off the wall. It almost appeared that this hotel was so comfortable being average they didn’t want to earn your future business after your initial booking. We stayed two nights here and both nights no maintenance occurred when we asked for it. The breakfast is below average and the staff needs formal training to compete with the areas other venues. This is our 3rd time in venice and we can suggest two other properties that want your business far more than this hotel. Important to mention in closing, we requested some consideration from the hotel by means of a partial refund for the poor stay and they declined. Totally their right, they were booked solid, we slept there…but future bookings will be elsewhere and guests should consider other options in a town filled with hotels that truly want to early your favor and glowing review. Buyer beware.

Staff members were either really nice or not helpful at all. Our jacuzzi kept leaking and the jets didn’t work. Breakfast was great. Room looked great and was pretty comfortable but no mini bar was a bummer

The room was clean, spacious and well provided. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast excellent, accommodating different tastes. All that was enhanced by the hotel location, centric but quiet, on the canal and next to a vaporetto (water bus) stop. Strongly recommended.

The walls had noticeable dust on them. But overall a great experience

We really enjoyed our stay there. However, it was hard to find an outlet in the room that worked. There were none by the desk and then by the beds. Otherwise, we love the location and it was a nice big clean room.

Excellent place to stay. Location is the absolute best. Near Rialto but in Cannaregio the best place to be in Venice for authenticity. The staff was so helpful and made excellent restaurant recommendations. We stayed for 4 nights and could not have been happier!

The breakfast items were fresh and yiu can tell they were just made , scrambled eggs, little egg bites with veggies and bacon and some sort of sausage. They have a toaster to toast your bread. They have a large selection of condiments like honey, Nutella, cream cheese, jams. They have many pastries and cakes, fresh fruit boiled eggs and a coffee machine or you can tell the server there to make you a fresh one. They have juices and water as well. The tables are all set for you once you walk in with plates and cutlery and tea cups, oh yes they also have teas and yogurts. Everything was amazing and enough to fill you up for the day to begin. The staff are very welcoming and helpful when you have questions. The rooms are very clean and the bathrooms are well kept. You have to let them know at what temperature you would like the air conditioner at and they turn it on for you downstairs in the lobby for your room. I booked this hotel due to the air conditioner and the breakfast, you won’t be disappointed!

Love this hotel! Very charming and in a great location. As they have their own dock transport to/from the airport or to the land transportation center is very easy and a real experience. The private water taxi is the very best choice if you have more than light baggage. If the private water taxi is too pricey (150 euro cash from airport the hotel will arrange it) the water “bus” stop is right at there doorstep. The staff was less helpful in arranging transport to our cruise ship. Be sure to know which of the Venice ports your ship is leaving from. Easiest method is private water taxi (70 euro cash) to land travel hub then land taxi to ship.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Pesaro Palace. The room was beautiful and clean. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was outstanding.

Beautiful hotel, arriving by water taxi from the airport was a highlight. Great location and lovely staff

The hotel is just 20 steps away from the “public “ water transit stop Ca d’oro . And very few steps from the main street, where you can see the crowd walking and many different amenities, restaurants. On the other hand the two ladies at reception are amazingly helpful and kind at all times .

It’s a beautiful hotel with clean spacious rooms and friendly staff. The breakfast is great here with cappuccino, expreso or coffee ready to go. The location is great because is right by the water taxi drop off so no going up and down stairs with suitcases which is a real plus.

Hotel is nice, breakfast is ample choice. Room only has one plug and that is in the bathroom! There is a book that says Do not use your own hairdryer, curling tongs or straightener, use the hair dryer provided. You also have to use this one and only plug in room 102 to charge your phone, laptop etc! All plugs in room are blanked off other than some are light switches. This for me let it down slightly. Mini fridge is empty, no air con that’s off, safe is not screwed down so it could be taken away although you can lock it. Bar shuts at 10am. No restaurant if you want to stay at hotel. Water taxi from hotel to airport is 150 euros.

Great location, reasonable breakfast, friendly staff and large rooms however run down facilities, chipping paint, a/c not sufficiently cooling (warm rooms), broken fixtures, outdated tacky furnishings (think 80s) … definitely not a 4 star … more like a 2 star … think Days Inn or a shabbier Comfort Inn and nowhere close to a Hampton In or Residence Inn not even a Springfield. Absolutely not worth the money.
