We booked a family room for my wife, two kids and myself. Here is the list of issues we had with the hotel:
- No door on bathroom instead they had a rickety foldable screen
- No vent in bathroom
- Kids bed too short
- Shower wand doesn’t work and drain cover is loose
- Intermittent internet connection over WiFi
- Shower water temperature fluctuates from cold to scalding. Can’t hold a constant temperature
- Room refresh didn’t leave adequate toilet paper
- Room refresh didn’t refill shower gel or shampoo and the front desk couldn’t help us because the housekeeping staff had left for the day

The property was centrally located and you could easily walk to many of the restaurants in the area. It was a 15 min walk to the Colosseum and to also the Pantheon.
However, the shower was not in a separate bathroom, but rather in the main room, they provided a partition which provided a little bit of privacy but it was an odd location to put a shower. However, the toilet was in a separate room. Overall, the room was comfortable with the exception of the shower placement.
The staff at the hotel were very nice and greeted me every day.

I had never booked through Expedia before and glad all worked out. The hotel staff was responsive prior to the trip in confirming details and very professional through check in & check out. Restaurant was lovely and a great place to relax after a busy day of sight seeing. We stayed in Annex building and it was lovely. Rooftop Terraces in both buildings need major rework to be comforbable but rooms were great, service was great & AC worked during the early heat wave in June!

Perfect location in vibrant Monti, steps from the Colosseum and great restaurants. Delicious breakfast with fresh pastries and coffee. Exceptional, friendly service made us feel at home. Cozy, clean rooms with a charming vibe. Highly recommend for a memorable Rome trip!

The room we received was NOT as described on the reservation. The room was very, very small0....probably 120 SQFT. The bathroom had no privacy. One of the bed was one foot from the bathroom. It was very uncomfortable to move around, take showers and it extremely uncomfortable when we had to go to the toilet.

Good location. Beds were comfortable and rooms were decently furnished. The website gave the impression that there was a sauna….there is BUT it’s part the spa that you need to pay for and it has limited hours. Our bathroom window had black mold around the trim and let a lot of light into the room. The glass was frosted but there were no blinds and it let a lot of light into the room at night. We put towels over the window which helped but didn’t solve it adequately. The door into the bathroom was frosted glass so you definitely didn’t get a darkened room at night.
The price was higher than the value.
