Ebisuholic Hotel

Hotel staff were very kind and friendly which was a highlight, but unfortunately the condition of the hotel was a disappointment. You could hear the wind from the outside of the room, the furniture was very outdated and the carpet had stains. The photos made the room look a lot better than it was. The price was also very high for what you got which was disappointing, we ended up cancelling our reservation and staying elsewhere for our last night in Tokyo.

Room was small, but clean. Was able to manage luggage without an issue. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very close to the train station, restaurants and shops. We would stay here again.

Ebisu location is great, only one train stop from Shibuya if you want to hit the tourist spots, or only about 15 min walk. So you can be away from the hussle and bussle a bit. Plenty of dining options around The location is only 15 min walk from the train station. Supermarket is located directly across the hotel. Super convenient to pick up fruits and drinks. Decent room size in a high density city.

Great value. Room was large by Tokyo standards with many amenities. Complimentary breakfast was quite good and staff was very kind and accommodating.A short but uphill walk from Ebisu station which could be tough with luggage.

Good Stay. Rooms are very small as is standard in Japan. Staff were friendly and tried to be helpful although probably not well educated in the systems to be able to fully help with the information we looked for. Breakfast was very minimal. Beds a little on the hard side.

Wonderful stay. Close to the train. Plenty to eat.

Quite expensive for what you get. I've stayed in other Tokyo hotels that had much bigger rooms, better amenities, and better breakfast for much less money.

The Ebisoholic hotel checked the boxes and was very convenient to everything we need. It was clean and the staff was very nice. We will stay there again.

An attractive looking room but it had an unnecessarily massive bath and as a consequence the room was small, with no place to put a suitcase, nor clothes.

It’s a nice boutique hotel. Free light breakfast was appreciated. It’s close to subway. I would prefer to stay closer to downtown area as taxi can get very expensive. My taxi fares cost from Haneda airport to this hotel was about ¥11.000 (about $70 USD). Convenient location with grocery market and restaurants. There was a good Chinese restaurant 2 blocks away.

Easy and quick check-in, cozy room on the 11th floor with a surprise view of Mt. Fuji! Amazing bathtub and complimentary bath salts made our stay extra relaxing. My partner and I wanted a more residential experience in Tokyo and Ebisu was perfect. It was a quiet neighborhood that was super accessible to anywhere we wanted to go. Skip the breakfast.

A great hotel located about a mile south of the bustling Shibuya intersection and just a 5-minute walk from Ebisu Train Station. The location is ideal—quieter than the main Shibuya area but still surrounded by excellent shopping and dining options, especially at the shopping center near the train station. We stayed in a double-bed room. While the space was small, it wasn’t cramped. The room featured a tub and walk-in shower combination with a glass wall—perfect if you don’t mind the openness (but there’s an option to block the view for privacy). The hotel offers a modest breakfast buffet, including rice, baked chicken wings, eggs, salad, sausage, bacon, and a curry dish. Throughout the day, cakes, muffins, coffee, and juices are available, which is a nice touch. The only downside was the occasional smell of cooking fumes from the restaurant when it was open, which could be a bit smoky. We opened the room window for ventilation when needed. That said, we spent most of our time out exploring Tokyo, so it wasn’t a major issue. I’d recommend this hotel for solo travelers or couples. For families, you’d likely need multiple rooms due to the size. Overall, a solid choice for a stay in Tokyo!

A convenient walk from Ebisu JR station, average size rooms by Japanese standards but nicer than a business hotel. Great staff.

Super convenient location within walking distance of Ebisu station; although the rooms are typically Japanese small they are nicely designed and spotless; the staff does their best to help with whatever you need.

Lovely room, well appointed, helpful staff. The only hiccup is the breakfast which some days did not seem fresh but re-heated. There is an effort to provide a range of foods but not sure how the food is sourced in terms of its proximity to a kitchen. But overall, this hotel is highly recommended!
