Fuji View Hotel

It was a great hotel away from the business of the downtown area! They had a shuttle though so it made it easy to get to restaurants if needed. The room had an amazing view of Mt Fuji and the breakfast buffet truly enjoyable.

Amazing Hotel !!!! So much Character and the grounds were beautiful!!!!! Would come again for relaxation and recharging..... the viw of Mount Fuji blew me away !!!!

By far one of our favourite stays during our Japan trip. The view of Fuji is unparalleled and the hotel also has panoramic viewing facilities on the top floor with comfortable sofas to settle and contemplate. The rooms are so spacious and comfortable, and if you happen to get a garden view instead of a fuji mountain view, you will NOT be disappointed - the mountains and lake make for a gorgeous backdrop. The hotel is secluded and yet the town is a quick walk away, so your stay can be varied in activity. The breakfast buffet is EXCELLENT! The hotel may feel a bit dated to some, but it is in great condition and well cared for. Very very clean. You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Extremely good value for money. Oh and don’t forget to buy some fish food and feed the kois in the pond

Beautiful hotel with awesome view of mt. Fuji and Sakura blossoms. Breakfast buffet was just ok. Will return to the hotel just for the views.

The view to the Mount Fuji from my room (331) was amazing! However, apart from that and helpful staff the hotel is quite run down. Breakfast was very poor, especially options for westerners.

Breakfast good. Spa was terrible. A sheet departing tables and the entire time staff was loud. On the phone talking SO loudly I finally had to tell them to please be quiet. The elevator kept pinging every 10 seconds. It was a real shame . It was expensive and was shocked at how loud and rude the female on the phone was. Most the Japanese people have been lovely. Not this one.

The hotel has an amazing location. On a clear day, Mount Fuji can be seen directly from the hotel which has a wonderful observation room. Breakfast is good with plenty of choice. The onsen is also a lovely treat at the end of the day- and spotlessly clean. We love staying here. There is a shuttle service provided to/from the station as the hotel is a little out of town.

Very large spread for breakfast, super good! Bath house was nice. Tatami rooms were lovely. Great view of the mountain from multiple public rooms even if your bedroom didn’t directly face the mountain.

Wonderful location for amazing view of Fuji. The grounds are well maintained and Onsen is excellent too. We ate both nights in the hotel and had a superb meal. Regular shuttles to the town centre which finishes at 19.30. recommend if you don't want to be in Kawaguchiko which to be honest is busy and tacky.

Great view and spacious room. It was the biggest room of our trip though the fuji room is outdated compared to the one with a private bath and mountain view. Bath tube is small for bigger Americans but public baths are nice and makes up for it.

We enjoyed our Lovely Japanese room with garden view. The staff was amazing, warm and cheerful. The fuji view on a lucky sunny breakfast was spectacular.

It is an old hotel but a very well kept hotel. The Japanese style rooms was a great experience for my friends and family. Amazing view from our rooms and throughout the hotel of Mount Fuji. Beautiful hostel grounds to walk around and very peaceful.

The room was nice. The hotel has a great view as described and is so relaxing. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The only thing is it is in a bit of a food desert. The town is overcrowded and the hotel itself has very little food especially if the restaurant is booked. Highly recommend bringing food with you here.

Beautiful, spacious room. Mount Fuji was viewable from our room and lots of nature surrounding area.

Had emergency leave 2 days early. So checked out after day 2/4 and staff seemed excited. 0 refund and double booked our room to someone else we are guessing

The spa is excellent and had an amazing massage treatment too.
