Great view of mount fuji and the lake. Great for that purpose. Have onsen on the basement which you can experience while in japan.

Clean, spacious room with amazing view of Mt Fuji from a balcony. It’s giving 70s but I don’t mind it. You can walk around the property and enjoy nearby beautiful surroundings. Staffs are helpful and friendly

Splendid setting with mind blowing views onto Mount Fuji, backside with lake view and lush greenery. Dinner on site excellent, breakfast buffet very good. The person that was very friendly and helpful. Sufficient basic English language skills. Excellent ohnsen. Shuttle bus every hour to downtown. We will go back there in a heartbeat..

The view of Fuji-San from my balcony room was amazing! The gardens were in full Sakura bloom and absolutely gorgeous. The free shuttle to and from the train station was very convenient.

This is a perfect hotel to see Mount Fuji, the views are spectacular. The employees were very kind and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was free too. I wished I had stayed more than one night. 2 days to visit the area is not enough. Oh, and the breakfast was delicious with so many Japanese and regular dishes.

After a few rainy days in Tokyo, we arrived at this hotel still under grey skies, and with not much hope of seeing Mt. Fuji. Hiowever, on opening the curtains the next morning...Wow!! What a site! The view of Fuji from our room was stunning, magnificent! The room was nice an big, although perhaps a little dated (some USB ports would be nice!), but overall, can't complain! We took advantage of the hotel shuttle bus into town, which is very useful, although could be more frequent than once an hour, and has to be pre-booked during busy hours (early morning etc). Additionally, the final service back from town is 19:45, which means there's not really an opportunity to experience the restaurants in Fujikawaguchiko unless you get a taxi back. But to be honest, I would have happily walked back to the hotel to see that view!

Very good hotel with an incredible view of Mt Fuji. Easily accessible via hotel shuttle from Fujikawaguchi Shinkansen train station for local (cheap and excellent) dining by station. If traveling from Tokyo to Fujikawaguchi, be sure to book Mt Fuji side window seat! Same when booking a room at this hotel: request an upper floor balcony with a view of Mt Fuji.

Amazing view of Mt Fuji during their great breakfast. Frequent shuttle to town and bikes available to ride around the lake. Not a lot to do so a couple of days is plenty.

Beautiful hotel and area. The only thing was the isolation-not walkable to open restaurants in less than 25 minutes. Shuttle runs every hour. Taxi back after 745 pm when the shuttle ends for the night. The buses also work once you get the routine Beautiful views of Mt Fuji. The lake views also pretty Dinner was nice/pricey. Breakfast was also good.

I booked two rooms. One had breakfast included and apparently the other didn’t, however my check- in receipt had both rooms included. They give you a summary paper upon arrival with keys detailing your stay. When we were charged- I told it was their mistake, yet still charged me. In light of this, they should have waived the charge.

Although the exterior and decoration is dated in the 1980’s, this hotel has been treated with respect and love. You cannot beat the location and the tranquility it offers. The service, food, onsen, and facilities are excellent. Breakfast is fantastic. The personal are polite and very helpful. If you are visiting Fuji, this is the best view and the best hotel by far.

We were there for 2 nights. Weather was not so good. We see Fuji mountain from our bed on day two. I was million dollar view. Good location great service. Will come back again
