Stayed in the Twin Superior room in June 2026 with my 17-year old son for 3 nights. The room was thoughtfully appointed, gorgeously maintained and very spacious. The hotel is inside the Kyoto Station so coming in on Shinkansen from Tokyo and day trips to Nara and Arashiyama could not have been more convenient. While the Kyoto Station is bustling and crowded 24/7, when you walk into the hotel, it’s a peaceful oasis. The staff was very helpful and professional. Other areas of Kyoto are easily accessible via trains, taxis or walking. We used the laundry service which was very convenient, it was picked up at 9:30 am and delivered back to our room by 5:30 pm the same day. It was a little expensive though. Would definitely stay here again.

Good places to eat. hotel room balcony was dirty. Older hotel so esthetically your pleasure is a 3 stars. The 12th floor lounge was great though and thats why I gave the 4 stars.

The hotel itself is very clean and what’s really great is that it’s right by Kyoto station in the city and that helped with commuting alot to where we traveled to. The staff however know very little English and not so helpful, they claimed their laundry service was cheap but our load of Laundry was 220$ USD, which is unheard of here in the states. You also have to pay to use the gym and the pool. And there is also a tourist tax that is charged per night. Other than the cleanliness of the hotel and us feeling safe I don’t think I would recommend the hotel. To pay so much already I felt like the extra charges were kind of not worth staying here. This was one of the most expensive hotels we stayed at due to us being in town for 4 days , we stayed in cheaper hotels half the price and those were way better than what we paid for this one.

Staying at this hotel was the best decision we made for lodging during our much longer stay in Japan. Built right IN to Kyoto station, which has EVERYTHING you could ever need. Luxurious enough at 4 -stars. Excellent experience all around.

Our first time in Japan. The accommodation was superb. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was kept clean and necessary amenities were provided. The property is conveniently located close to the public transportation, attractions, and shopping area. Should we come back in Kyoto we will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Location: Excellent. This property is located in the main train station which allowed for easy access to all trains, including Shinkansen and the underground. Yet very quiet. Shopping and restaurants all within walking. Hotel: Wonderful. Had everything required and I stayed 7 nights. Only issue is that the gym is not included. Staff: Wonderful and helpful. Room: Very nice and spacious. I recommend this hotel and would certainly stay here again!
