Japanese modern style room, great location easily within walking distance to Kawaramachi shopping district. Near subway station and also bus station to many spots in Kyoto. Hotel provides onsen which is good for relaxing after a full day of walking.

Bed was extremely comfortable. So quiet we didn’t hear anything. Laundry facilities a bonus. Onsen open 5 am was lovely. Fridge in room and hotpot with coffee and tea provided. Slippers and pjs to wear to onsen. Excellent location. Totally recommend.

Beautiful property conveniently located. The room was small but very cute. We didn't use the spa, but daily breakfast was great with tons of options. A few minutes walk from train stops and a 15 minute walk from the national garden and Gion District. We would stay again.

The hotel is really conveniently located, the staff is lovely and accommodating, the baths is amazing and the beds were comfortable. The only two negatives were: the WiFi was not great. And the room is a bit of a spaceship at night with all the blinking lights so bring an eye mask.

This very modern hotel had a large and clean onsen that was usually empty as most guests at the hotel were foreigners. The room was well sized with nice amenities and features. All the staff were friendly. The location of the hotel was very convenient to public transport and shopping. While the communal microwave could do with a replacement, I appreciated and made use of the vending machines, laundry and ice machine.

Staff were very friendly and the room was cosy and had plenty of amenities. Hotel is in a good location, close to the main shopping districts and the park. Our only complaint would be that the TV was only Japanese live channels, not a smart TV, so the ability to log into Netflix or likewise would have been nice, otherwise there's nothing in English for tourists. Regardless, we would stay again.
