Japanese modern style room, great location easily within walking distance to Kawaramachi shopping district. Near subway station and also bus station to many spots in Kyoto. Hotel provides onsen which is good for relaxing after a full day of walking.

Staff were very friendly and the room was cosy and had plenty of amenities. Hotel is in a good location, close to the main shopping districts and the park. Our only complaint would be that the TV was only Japanese live channels, not a smart TV, so the ability to log into Netflix or likewise would have been nice, otherwise there's nothing in English for tourists. Regardless, we would stay again.

Breakfast was nice, they keep it consistent. The bed in the hotel was perfect to sleep in. They have a osen has well, it’s separated between men and women, but it keeps the Kyoto style!

The hotel is beautiful, very elegant and clean. Staff is extremely attentive and kind. Food was great. Atmosphere was very enjoyable and peaceful.

We’ve stayed here before and think it’s a great hotel. I also enjoyed the public bath. Are only minor gripe was on one of our days the breakfast choices were not refilled and it was almost 90 minutes before closing

Beautiful room with traditional elements. The staff were amazing, very hospitable, engaged and welcoming. English bilingual skills were very good and helped answer all our questions, very helpful and attentive. Hotel onsen was quaint and peaceful. Fun touch having the free Maiko meet and greet available daily for guests.
