Swissôtel Nankai Osaka

Rooms were super clean, the staff super helpful and the bar and restaurant were excellent. The hotel is well placed to get quickly to shopping, restaurants, subway and entertainment areas.

This hotel is very convenient. The Nankai rapid train will take you straight to this hotel from the airport and back to the airport when you depart KIX. We loved it!

Great location, very nice hotel, and excellent staff. We are particularly thankful for the nice waiter we had when we enjoyed two visits to the beautiful sky bar. When we mentioned where we were planning to go from there , the Napalise gentleman who was our waiter recommended that we consider Amanohashidate. We are particularly thankful for that advice, as we really enjoyed staying in that city.

Everything was wonderful from check in to checking out. The breakfast buffet had a vast variety of choices. Concierge was helpful with our luggage forwarding to our next destination. Just a heads up if it is your first time visiting, the hotel is located within the mall / train station. Does not have a typical hotel entrance that would be highly visible if you’re arriving via train. Overall great stay. Highly recommend.

Great location but clearly management is not on top of hotel cleanliness. Carpets had stains, on our room we had gum stuck on the carpet. The toilet had a foul odor. The 36th floor rooftop breakfast had amazing views. The breakfast selection was good but some of the food stations were not clean. Specially the juice station, a tad grimy. Some of the guest at breakfast showed up in their pajamas. One Mother (40’s) Daughter (7) duo arrived in flip flops, stained blouse with holes around the neck. This is out of control from hotel management. Future visitors decorum matters, you are representing your people your nation when you travel abroad. Projected in a positive manner.

Great location. Good room--howevefr, our room was right next to the elevator shaft and was extremely noisy. Fortunately, they moved us to a quieter and nicer room on the same floor. The gym and pool look excellent, though we didn't get to use them. The bathroom is a little smaller than the other rooms we stayed in in Japan on this trip. Nice amenities in the room. Great view.

The hotel is in a very central and accessible area being connected to the Namba station, Takashimaya department store and many other shops. We booked the Waon suite and it was very nice with a really great showering area. The staff is helpful and attentive. Breakfast is quite good with a large selection and Ina gorgeous location on the 36th floor. We are coming back here in December ! Also lots of restaurants on site but we didn’t try any of them.

Excellent location and hotel restaurants are great!

Well located hotel in Namba, convenient to public transportation. Very hard to find from the train station because it takes a special elevator to get to the reception on the 6th floor. Geoffrey at reception was very welcoming and excellent. The capsule prizes at reception are only postcards, so don’t bother!

The hotel was simply spectacular. The room was spacious with a fantastic view. If staying around Namba station is what’s you’re looking for then this is a great option. The swimming pool looks a bit dated and needs a bit of renovation to bring it up to par with the rest of the wonderful building but is more than adequate. All in all I would definitely stay again.
