I had read some negative reviews of this hotel and they are wrong. This is a great hotel in a perfect location. The lobby is beautiful and that staff could not be nicer. I read a review that said “if you want a Japanese experience don’t stay here” and yes this is not Ryokan, but I think the name tells you that. But if you want a really nice hotel with staff that are so kind, then stay here. We had an executive twin room that was perfect. The room was spotless and kept spotless. If you forgot something, they had amenities in the room, toothbrush, hairbrush, lovely smelling soaps and shampoos.
The buffet breakfast was very good, lots of selections. The breakfast staff were awesome, made sure you had a seat right away, were always there to help if you could not work the coffee machine and there were juice shots right when you came in the were delicious.
I read where someone said the breakfast was boring, no one in our party of 4, (two in 30’s, two in 60’s) thought that. It can be if you eat one of everything on your first day, but even then I don’t thing that’s true, They had fresh made omelets or eggs, lots of different pastries and fruits and a strawberry fountain that was so yummy.
We asked to have our luggage transferred to Tokyo (minimal cost), and they staff was so helpful. They got it all taken care of and then held our overnight bags til our train time.
I would definitely stay here again. This hotel was perfect in a perfect location and the staff was amazing
