WELLSTAY Namba

A lovely modern hotel (QR code checkin) with a much-needed lobby eating area and free drinks after 2pm. The four bunk family room was compact but fully functional with mini fridge and small burner. The shower room and bidet were wonderful. Close to temple and a million 7-11 and restaurant options. Walkable and near trains. We didn’t realize free laundry too until too late. Leave a review day one and they’ll give you a late checkout. A great stay with delicious wagyu beef places nearby.

This hotel was in a good location, a short safe walk to Namba area. The staff were helpful in shipping a forgotten item to our next hotel. The beds and pillows were much much firmer than our preference. Nice and clean hotel. Appreciated the laundry facilities.

Great place to stay and very clean local amenities and close to trains and shopping districts. internet fast and will recommend friends to stay too. keep up the great work.

Internet was a slow, but it got the job done for browsing. Shower pressure was amazing though!

Self check in. No staff to assist with anything. Location was a good walk to Dontonburi. Room was cramped, relatively clean except there was a stain on the bedsheets. For the cheap room price… it is decent.

The most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept in… and what sadistic person would make a pillow out of hard plastic beads. Awful night sleep every night!!

Good Hotel overall, room size is perfect for a family of four, only inconvenience is the 10min walk to train station…

Easy for us as a family of five - we were right next to the laundry which was really helpful. Easy walking distance to two stations, and a number of attraction

The room was cozy and adequate for what we needed. Close to restaurants and close to the entertainment/ shopping district.

地點很棒， 在南波大馬路上很好找， 離百貨商場跟便利商店都很近， 主要黎南撥八阪神社很近， 可以每天早去神社走走， 入住期間不會有打掃房間的服務， 不過這邊CP值滿好的，4人房 住兩個人滿剛好的，下午15-22點一樓有免費咖啡茶飲提供.

My family and I decided to end our stay at Wellstay Namba 4 days early due to a SERIOUS BREACH OF SAFETY. Initially we were not happy with the room as it was cramped, not well laid out and the beds and pillows were terrible. We had requested alternative pillows and an extra blanket, but were told there were none and we were given everything needed for our stay. We were willing to look past this issue and continue our stay, until the situation escalated from uncomfortable to dangerous. My 10 year old son opened the window from the top bunk and we realised that it opens completely, leaving nothing to stop one of my children from falling 6 floors to their death. We are just thankful that it was not one of our younger children. The hotel has denied any fault or liability for the issue. This is unacceptable and a serious oversight and breach of safety by the hotel. We will be reporting this to consumer affairs.

Location. And our room is neat.

We had a great stay. The room size was quite decent, especially compared to typical hotels in Japan. It accommodated five people comfortably. The location was very convenient—just a short walk to a FamilyMart and 10 mins walk to Namba Station.

Staff was not helpful.

Rooms were really clean. Check in was super easy. Staff was great

Nice place but the washer and dryers need attention. Should have more or replace the ones that don’t work, there’s only two sets for a whole hotel of people. And one is out of order
