The room quite comfortable and the service also good. However we can hear people next door chatting and the sound from outside. It was disturbing us to sleep well.

About

Bandar Sri Damansara is a classy residential area and township within the district of Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia. It is located closely to similar townships in Klang Valley such as Damansara Perdana, Kota Damansara, Bandar Utama, Mutiara Damansara and many more, being positioned north of Damansara Perdana as well as the opposite of Desa Park City and Sunway SPK Damansara. Having wealthier residents occupying a mixed residential and commercial zone, it is one of the satellite suburbs built outside of the Kuala Lumpur city centre. In its early days, the development work has been carried out by Land and General Berhad from 1996 before being taken over by TA Global later on. Similar to other areas within the Damansara area, Bandar Sri Damansara is placed under the administration of Petaling Jaya City Council.

Historically, the township in a whole as the Petaling Jaya district was placed under the jurisdiction of the Kuala Lumpur district officer prior to year 1953. In 1954, a Petaling Jaya Authority was formed to oversee Petaling Jaya. Later, Kuala Lumpur was declared as a Federal Territory in 1974. Subsequently, Petaling Jaya or also locally known as PJ, was ceded from being a part of the Kuala Lumpur area, and the Petaling Jaya Authority was upgraded as a municipality council in 1977. Moving forward to 2006, Petaling Jaya is granted the city status and a mayor has been appointed, making the municipality council upgraded again to the city council it is now. Some of the major shopping malls in the Klang Valley is located in this vicinity, which drives its economy, such as One Utama, Ikano Power Centre, The Curve and Ikea.
