How to Get There

By Plane

You can fly to Kuala Lumpur International Airport from any major airports around the world. The distance from KLIA airport to Janda Baik is within 100km.From KLIA airport you can use either the ERL (Express Rail Link), coach, taxi or shuttle bus, get down at the KL Sentral. From KL Sentral, you can either rent a car or get a taxi direct to Janda Baik.

By Car

You can drive to Janda Baik where it is just 45 kilometers North of Kuala Lumpur and half an hour drive from kl via Gombak-Karak Highway.

By Bus

There is no direct bus to Janda Baik from Kuala Lumpur. You have to take a bus to Bentong which is the nearest town to Janda Baik. You can take coach at Jalan Pahang Bus Terminal where the journey is 1 hour to reach Bentong. From Bentong , you have to take a taxi where it takes 30 minutes’ drive to reach Janda Baik.

Pulau Santap

Pulau Santap is a picnic area at the confluence of Sungai Benus and Cheringging rivers at Janda Baik. It's a long stretch of river and natural rainforest surroundings, making it popular with families for day trips or overnight camping. 'Pulau' means island, while 'Santap' is a royal word for eating. In ancient times, a small island rose above the confluence of rivers, where it was used as a leisure spot for meals by Pahang's sultans. Nowadays, the island is no longer exists because of erosion.

Ulu Tampit Waterfall

Ulu Tampit waterfall is in Latto Charok. It is recommended to visit the waterfall if you are visiting Janda Baik. Many would find that Ulu Tampit waterfall is the most enjoyable one. There are seven floors of waterfall and 4th, 5th and 7th floor, are the most common floors people go to visit. At the 5th floor of the waterfall, the panoramic view is so beautiful and kids enjoy it the most at this floor while at 7th floor is the best to dip into the water. The water is so cold and so deep, yet you will not be carried away by the current. It is one of the safest waterfalls to plunge into the water.

Sungai Benus

Among the places to visit in Janda Baik is Sungai Benus. The river is great for an adventurous trek. Fishing enthusiasts will also love the river with its diversity of fish. Some of the fish found in the river include the mahseer, hampala barb and catfish.

Genting Highlands

Bukit Tinggi New Village is not only home to great restaurants but variety of stalls selling fresh fruits and vegetables.
