Teluk Cempedak or literally Cempedak Bay in English is a beach situated in Kuantan, the state capital of Pahang, Malaysia. It is located five kilometres east of the city centre and in close proximity with the golf club. The beach is famous for its beauty, with white sands and captivating casuarinas and pine trees line the coast, with a rocky cape facing the South China Sea. Combination of all these factors makes the beach even more beautiful and enjoyable by the visitors aiming to relax and have a good time at the beach. One can look forward to fun activities such as jet-skiing, building sandcastles, playing kites, banana boats and other water-sport activities. During the day and night, visitors can also observe the fishermen boats at sea. This mosque is located 6.6 kilometres away from the beach, being the Pahang’s state mosque in the heart of Kuantan’s business district. It gets its name from Sultan Ahmad Al-Mu'adzam Shah, which is the first ruler of Pahang. Constructed between 1991 and 1993, this beautiful mosque can accommodate up till 8, 000 congregants at one time. The architecture is based on the Ottoman-Moorish inspiration with some modern injection into the design, for instance, the beautiful geometric patterns making up the interior of the mosque.

Recently renovated, the park has a one-kilometre pavement stretching along the Kuantan River which is a great place to take a walk and relax with its calming palm trees and beautiful lamp posts.
