De Botani Hotel is a two-star hotel that is located in the city of Ipoh, Perak. It is perfect for those who are coming to the city for a business trip or a vacation as it is located in the city and near to malls and attractions. Despite the hotel has a rather cheap rate per night, it does not compromise with the comfort and the hygiene of their rooms and the common areas. They also have great hospitality; something that the De Botani Hotel is known for by their guests.
How to Get to De Botani Hotel
It is easy to go to the De Botani Hotel as it is located in the city of Ipoh and along the main road of the city. Driving from the city centre of Ipoh, it will take just under fifteen minutes to reach the De Botani Hotel. For those who are driving from Kuala Lumpur, it will take about two hours and fifteen minutes to arrive at the hotel, via the North-South Highway. Taking a bus to Ipoh is one of the many choices available to travel there. A bus ticket to Ipoh from Kuala Lumpur starts from as low as RM 19 for one-way and all of the buses will stop at the Aman Jaya Bus Terminal that is half an hour away from the De Botani Hotel. There are taxis at the bus terminal that would bring the passengers to their destination of choices including the De Botani Hotel. There is a small international airport in Ipoh and it only caters to just a few flights from three destinations; domestic destination being Johor and international destinations are from Singapore and Medan. For those who are travelling from these three places, getting to Ipoh has never been easier. The airport is located near to De Botani Hotel, just ten minutes away.

The De Botani Hotel offers four types of room to their guests. All of the rooms at the De Botani Hotel have a free Wi-Fi connection. They are also equipped with basic in-room amenities such as a flat-screen television, complimentary bottled water and a dressing table with a half-body mirror. There is an en-suite bathroom in each of the rooms in the hotel. The first room at the De Botani Hotel is the Standard room that comes with a Queen-sized bed. This room starts from RM 65 and it is perfect for those who are travelling alone or maybe a couple. For those who are looking for a bigger room, the Superior is a better choice and it comes with a King-sized bed. The Superior is RM 81 a night. The Deluxe room also comes with a King-sized bed but a bigger room. It is RM 98 a night. The biggest room at the De Botani Hotel is the Family Quadruple room. It comes with one King-sized bed and a Queen-sized bed. A night at this huge room is just RM 131, inclusive tax. All of the rooms at the De Botani Hotel are non-smoking.

The facilities at the De Botani Hotel are limited as it is a small hotel. The De Botani Hotel has a 24-hour receptionist and front desk thus making it easy for anyone to check-in. The hotel also has a luggage storage area where their guests can stow away their luggage if their rooms are not ready by the time they have reached the hotel. The hotel also has multilingual staffs that can communicate in local languages such as Malay and Mandarin, and also English. Sam Poh Tong Temple - Sam Poh Tong Temple is an ancient Chinese Buddhist temple that is built within the natural limestone hill. It was first discovered in 1912 and since then, have been developed by the local Buddhist community to become what it is now; an international tourist spot. It has attracted many visitors both locally and all over the world. The Sam Poh Tong temple is the place to go to see an impressive work of art and faith, woven together with the statutes of Buddha located among the stalactites and stalagmites. The Sam Poh Tong temple is just five minutes away from the De Botani Hotel. The temple opens every day from 9 am until 6 pm and there is no admission fee.
