I stayed there for a night and glad that I only booked the challet for one night. Not that the rate was expensive (my opinion) but the place was also run down and personally I feel that it was not value for money. The only thing good that I can think of about this place is that they have a good working water heater and near to kundasang town.

Great View
As many commented, hotel is run down. But is acceptable as we just putting a night with no activities at hotel. Few spot around hotel give great view with Mount Kinabaru and village. Unfortunately need to walk a distant for sun rise view.

Disappointing stay
We stayed one night in a chalet.found chalets to be quite run down.no fridge in room and only food available at night was the Ramadan buffet.no room service at all.we asked staff for advice of other eating establishments nearby and they were unhelpful.we ate breakfast at 7.30 and food was already cold and not replenished.

Worst Hotel ever encountered
We are experienced travellers, but never before have we experienced such a dreadful run-down Hotel. The clincher was when I pulled back the pillows only to find old dead insects underneath the pillows which resulted in me removing the filthy pillow case and to nearly dry retch at the state of the disgusting stained pillow. I have photographed the pillow and shown various people who were also disgusted. I then inspected the rest of the bed linen and it was equally as filthy and putrid. Due to the late hour and our fatigue I removed the filthy cushions from the cane chairs and "slept" in the chairs. Waking early and looking to a hot shower, we were greeted with NO hot water and absolutely minimal cold water, barely enough for basic ablutions. Then discovered no water for the toilet. Travelling with a large group we were unable to seek alternate accommodation. This Hotel should be avoided at all costs and Senior Management taking tourist RGT should be ashamed of themselves. I am attempting to make a formal complaint to Senior Managers when I can locate an email contact for them.

Sorry to have to give this poor review.
Mt Kinabalu and park are stunningly beautiful...we stayed in a chalet, tired but still magnificent, large lounge area and spacious rooms, hot water and good water pressure. After the daily down pour we discovered that we had a drip at 3 drops/second falling on a rusted down pipe with the volume of a kettle drum...climbed out the window as far as i dared with my hiking pole to see if i could redirect the drip but it was just out of reach...we tried relocating our beds down stairs to the lounge but it was worse....there must have been a large pool of water banked up as it didn't let up all night and we had an early start to climb Mt Kinabalu....water torture anybody.....and then the neighbours got home...I don't think they realised how much sound was amplified in these old buildings, surface to say the imagination wasn't required concerning their nocturnal activities.
