AR 218 Hotel by ULIV

The staff goes above and beyond in friendliness and hospitality. 5/5 stars for location (walkable, quiet, etc) and for room comfort and cleanliness. The small outdoor patio is such a nice plus. I'd absolutely stay here again!

Room was always clean. Front desk personnel was friendly and answered questions. I enjoyed having a little kitchen. Rooftop terrace was very nice.

We had a wonderful stay at AR218, but what stood out most was something completely unexpected. During our stay, my eight year old daughter left a handwritten note for a fish at the hotel. After we checked out, the team reached out to let us know that the “little friend” had received her letter—and then they sent us a beautifully written, personalized response from the fish, complete with a wax-sealed envelope and illustration. It was thoughtful, creative, and incredibly well executed. More importantly, it made my daughter feel seen and valued in a way that went far beyond typical hospitality. As someone who works in customer experience, I can say this is one of the most intentional and memorable experiences I’ve come across. It wasn’t about luxury—it was about care, attention, and creating a moment that actually mattered. Beyond that, the hotel itself is beautiful, well-located, and thoughtfully designed. But it’s the team that truly sets it apart. We won’t forget this, and we’ll absolutely be back.

Decent stay, but a bit underwhelming overall. The location in Condesa is great and really the main upside: easy to walk to cafes, restaurants, etc. The property itself is more like an apartment rental than a hotel, which comes with some tradeoffs. My room had a terrace but it was a small enclosed space with high walls and not the most inviting. The bathroom design was very crowded and also prioritizes looks over function: very small sink, awkward faucet, and no towel rack. Kitchen was also barely equipped. I didn't bother trying to cook there. Housekeeping is technically daily, but it happens on a fixed schedule (around 3pm). If you have a do-not-disturb sign on at that time, they’ll skip it without coming back, or you can request it for earlier in the day. I was on the ground floor near the corridor, so there was frequent noise from people passing by. Sound seemed to travel from next door and above more than expected too. Nights were quiet, but was frequently distburbed when just chilling in my room during the afternoon. The staff were friendly and responsive when I messaged them by text. It worked fine as a base and was likely a good value, but I’d probably opt for a more traditional hotel next time.

Amazing stay

We had a great stay here. Excellent hotel with many cafes and restaurants close by. Close to Bosque de Chapultepec. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

I truly believe this is the best service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. Everything is impeccable, but what stands out the most is the staff. Andrea, Diana, Alex, Bryan, and the housekeeping team were exceptional. They were attentive at all times and took care of everything we needed. We will definitely return. Congratulations to the owners for creating such an outstanding experience for their guests.

Room was very clean at arrival and remained that way after cleaning staff came every day. The staff were all incredibly helpful and always welcoming. There were many appliances in the kitchen that made it possible to cook food. Water was always accessible. Air conditioning worked well to cool the room when shades were also put down.

The hallways were beautiful, the staff were friendly, the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by delicious restaurants and beautiful walkways. It was a perfect spot to relax after exploring the city. We definitely recommend this hotel and would love to visit it again!

Excellent stay: great location, clean facility and friendly staff.

Very spacious and comfortable suite. Staff was very helpful and nice. There is a Starbucks at entrance and a great local coffee shop/bakery next door. Lots of excellent restaurants nearby. Condesa is a great neighborhood, and a reasonable walk to Roma Norte, another great neighborhood, as well as the big park and museums. The rooftop deck is really nice too.
