Good place to stay

Definitivamente fue muy desilusionante, después de ser un gran hotel , se ha venido para abajo en apariencia se ve bien pero una vez entrando a los cuartos es una experiencia que no le deseo a nadie en sus vacaciones, las camas, las sábanas, las cobijas sucias, no tienen aspiradora para recoger el polvo de las alfombras y lo hacen con escoba así que todo el polvo se sube a las camas al tocador a nuestras maletas, la tina de baño y los lavaderos están tapados, así que cuando te lavas lo dientes el agua se queda ahí por mucho tiempo al igual la tina de baño, el mal olor de los cuartos se quedaron en mi mente y aún no he podido superar ese olor. Se me pidió dinero extra para darme un mejor cuarto y no fue así , al entrar uno de esos cuartos olía a orines y al bajar a preguntar el por qué el nuevo cuarto que pague dinero extra olía tan horrible, me dijeron que supuestamente tienen un gato y se orina en las camas, tuve que salir a comprar productos para que el olor del cuarto no fuera tan horrible y pudiera dormir … una experiencia que no recomiendan a nadie.

Room was old, outside view of roof, window that could not open, no A/C. Shower floor very slippery with no mat.

Beautiful scenery

Staff was very accommodating and receptive. Surroundings were clean and hotel was within walking distance to nearby park, cafes, and local shopping.

Excellent service! There needs to be some more effort in making sure the room is completely clean. For examples, sheets were not. More towels available in rooms. Other than that, I will return very soon!

The room i was given had no AC & no Cieling fan. I returned to the front desk asking for a room with AC since the hotel lists AC, but I was informed none of their rooms have AC, but was offered a fan. I booked this hotel due to a Marta Sanchez concert in Puebla and it was the closest hotel to the venue. I asked for toothpaste and a razor and was charged for both. It was cheap so no biggie, however I would not stay here again.

Hotel Lastra is on the Los Fuertes hill ("the forts"), where the battle of Cinco de Mayo was fought. In addition to the ruins and other historical attractions, the hill now has coffee shops, stores, events, a paddle-boat lake, a new elevated tram, a walking exploration of Puebla's history, a bike path, and beautiful views of the surrounding city. The hotel has been mostly renovated, and now contains a nice outdoor pool, gardens, heated outdoor sitting areas, a restaurant, and a bar. Walking down the hill rather than up it, it is a 5 minute walk to the San Francisco mall. In addition to great restaurants (such as La Purificadora) and stores, this mall is also historical, featuring restored colonial-era Spanish ruins, some of which are presented under glass flooring as you walk the mall area.

The hotel is awesome, the staff are very friendly, food, omg, delicious

Buen servicio

Todo muy bien, habitación limpia, personal amable

El personal fue sumamente amable, eso es algo que siempre suma y hace la gran diferencia. El único detalle sería el servicio de limpieza, que llegaba muy temprano (10am~11am) tocando la puerta.

El ruido que hay en la noche debido a una bomba al parecer . No me dejó dormir nada.

Todo muy bien solo el agua de la alberca que está en exceso fria
