Excellent hotel for relaxing right on the lagoon. Very clean, staff is friendly, love their dock, pool, jacuzzi. Beds and rooms are very clean and comfortable beds.

Unfortunately, I messed the booking up so we ended up in garden rooms rather than the lagoon rooms which meant we didnt get the experience we were hoping for. Staff very friendly and helpful, and great location plus free use of kayaks etc. Maybe not as much access to swings, hammocks, etc as we'd thought, and noticeable road noise; but, again, we were expecting to have dedicated seating and lagoon access. Marginal price difference between rooms so go for lagoon cottages. Hotel automatically adds service charge even if you leave staff a tip which is a bit naughty.

This was our second time staying at the property—our first visit was seven years ago. We returned because we had such a great experience the first time, and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the new ownership has made significant improvements.
The property now features a beautiful pool and a picturesque dock extending into the lagoon, complete with hammocks for relaxing. They also offer a boat tour of the lagoon, which was excellent. Our guide was fantastic, and even though we were running late, they kindly accommodated us with a later departure.
We were celebrating our son’s 15th birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it special. They arranged for a cake, decorated his room, and even sang Happy Birthday. The food throughout our stay was delicious, and a highlight was the woman making fresh corn tortillas on-site, they were incredible.
