Alp Hotel Amsterdam

Location was quite nice, there was tram stops nearby the building though i’d recommend you to just walk and get a pleasant stroll since the centrum isn’t too far away. Accomodation was a bit pricey but it was worth it, though they could get a little improvement on the bed, staffs was friendly they explained basically everything you need to know about the area. Be aware of the steep stairs if you have big luggages, thankfully the hotel staff was really nice helping us bringing them up and down.

I am very satisfied with the service I received during my stay (12-13 July 2017). The only hotel so far who replied to me when I made special request during booking with Traveloka. Thumbs up for their costumer service. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by a very nice gentleman at the reception counter. He offered us drink and get us Amsterdam map which he then advised the places we should go and the transportation etc. Then he brought our 2 huge luggage up to our rooms on the 4th floor. (Yes, the only downside of this hotel is that they only have stairs. no lift. so for those who has difficulty in climbing stairs, I think you should reconsider.) The next morning. we met the same staff. He showed us Halal menu on the breakfast. (We are Muslim and I'm so touched by that). Plus, tram is just in front of the hotel and they provide 24 hours coffee and tea at the counter. Our room is slightly small, but everything is good. Suitable for 2 persons. A happy customer.
