I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a charming heritage building near the canal - it was absolutely gorgeous. The property is very well maintained, and full of beautiful furniture and themed decor. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, we felt welcomed from the moment we walked through the door. The breakfast offered was probably the best I’ve ever had at at hotel!

The room was lovely, so well decorated, great view of the canal and street. The bathroom sink was a lovely touch. Plenty of coffee in the room too. The staff were absolutely fantastic, so welcoming. Lots of lovely items in the bar area and shop. Hotel location is really central so easy to walk everywhere, great base for exploring the cultural locations and shopping. I will definitely stay here again.

The room was spotless and was comfortable for a family of five. The bathroom was super nice and modern! The room was quiet and dark, which was great for good rest. And the best part of the hotel were the amenities - the lobby/lounge were such a joyful place for our family to get a snack, a coffee, a glass of wine and make our plans for our next adventure!

It’s a good location and the rooms are good for the price. The breakfast is just about a pass. A friendly and warm hotel. Good for a single traveller who just wants a safe place to stay at a reasonable price.

Beautiful hotel in great location. Awesome breakfast and costumer service. Important note: it doesn’t have elevator! So if you come with lot of luggage don’t get the 3rd floor!

A real treat. Perfect location near trams and metro, but also walking distance from everything. Friendly staff, relaxed, welcoming. My simple, single room was just right for a few days. Next time I might upgrade to a canal view as the view is lovely. Recommended.

Cute boutique hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. Friendly staff, fresh Continental breakfast and proximity to sights and transit made this hotel the perfect base camp for our visit. Lack of an elevator, air conditioning and mattresses that could use an update are the only reasons for 4 stars.

Centrally located hotel within walking distance to major attractions. Staff was friendly and we enjoyed the free breakfast. The room was clean and tastefully decorated but could use a paint refresh throughout the hotel. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. This wasn’t an issue for us given our trip was in early October, but could be an issue on hot days. There was a fan in the room that could be used if needed. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. We loved Amsterdam.

A nice enough room. I only booked a single room so the 3/4 bed was a bonus, although it would have been nicer if the duvet had covered the whole bed, it was small. The bedroom and bathroom were clean but basic. The bathroom sink blocked the toilet, so get used to pee-ing on the diaganol. The main reason for docking points was I was massively bitten on the second night of my stay, I didn’t expect this in Amsterdam. The receptionist said it was mosquitos but I feel like that was unlikely in Amsterdam in late September. Anyway she said it was known and, if so, why didn’t they either advise me so I could have sprayed and/ or bought a plug in, or just put a plug in the room. Rather ruined my last day being an itching sore mess. Nice cafe / ba4r, although was advised I could return (use the facilities, WiFi, charge) but it was a different staff on my return and they seemed to think this odd (although did let me) Overall nice hotel,

Staff was very friendly and welcoming, but the positives end there. My “room” was between reception, the stairs, and the dining area, and the walls were paper-thin, making it impossible to sleep because of all the noise throughout the night. This should be (and probably once was) a storage unit or utility room. And despite the “room” being on the ground floor, the water pressure was comically low. I definitely won’t stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.
