Fantastic hotel. Located on a hilly city, it overlooks the valley where Granada is located offering a splendid view. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and cozy. Mine had a private balcony. The main terrasse has a pool and plenty of seating options. They offer a varied breakfast and several dining options. I will remember this stay for my entire life so much I enjoyed it.

This hotel is amazing. The location is around 4 kilometers from the nearest city centre (la Zubia) but the travel worths it. t is a beautiful trip all going up the hill between pines. When you go down, you see the city below, so pretty. The hotel is a recycled old house, nice and tidy. Our room was huge with a huge balcony overlooking the city and the Sierra Nevada mountains. Breathtaking. Bathroom was totally updated and functional, and of generous dimensions. Breakfast was european style, plenty and deliciuos, with different kind of breads, tarts, pies, mermelades, fruits, yogurt, etc. Coffee, teas and chocolate are available too. The orange juice is squeezed at your request. The owners, who attend the place, are great people. There is one dog living at the hotel that is the sweetest dog ever and the owners even let you take it for a walk if you want. Great hotel, great experience.

Absolutely amazing!!! Way high up above Grenada in the mountains provides beautiful sunsets and quiet. Loved loved loved!! The meals were great, the ambience incredible and I didn’t want to leave! And I loved the sound of chickens clucking in the morning and the dogs to pet by the pool. Oh, and the breakfasts are superb, lots of variety, fresh squeezed OJ and home made yoghurt!! Wow! To travellers who go, it is hard to find with no GPS and google maps got us very lost as Zubia, the town your have to go through to get there, has no street names on the buildings. Use GPS and it is simple. Staying there is the perfect complement to the AlHambra chaos with all the people.

The hotel was nice and comfortable with modern bedrooms. The bed was very comfy. The service of the hosts was really pleasant and kind. The food was delicious and the chef very nice. The two canine hosts steal the show! Awesome pair of dogs. The view to the city is lovely. The only thing is that the hot water for the very nice bath tub with a view never really heated up, so we couldn’t use it. I’m sure it was a one off..

We loved it (& the dogs). Beautifully modernised, fab view, lovely people, great breakfast (freshly baked bread, cakes, pastries etc). We wished we'd been better organised and booked to have dinner there, in their nice dining room overlooking the valley, as we're sure the food would have been excellent.

We stayed here last week with our two children and really liked the hotel. The hotel staff were all lovely and very welcoming and the hotel itself feels really homely. It is about 5km from La Zubia where we found a lively local tapas restaurant (La Almadraba) with just the right mix of atmosphere and good food recommended by the hotel. The breakfast provided is very nice with a good choice of fresh food. The two hotel dogs were a welcome addition to the overall experience.

It might sound like I have a thing for the receptionist Celia - but she was almost the only thing good about this hotel. And if she was not there - I am convinced this hotel would be struggling to survive. When we arrived, the place looked great. Even the room looked fantastic. And the views over Granada and the Sierra Nevada mountain range are really quite pleasing. Celia, was fantastic, pleasant, helpful, and a great cook. Her cooking skills are brilliant - and her soup should be a choice for a last meal. HOWEVER -- The pool was frozen over (even though I was told it would be open), not to mention filthy. And the room - whilst it looked great at first, soon started to fall apart. The blind on the doors to the balcony came crashing down, the coffee maker in the room would not work (which was the only refreshments in the room), the towels were a joke, the shower poured water all over the floor. The room was too hot (even with a window open), it took about five minutes to get the key out of the lock in the door every time and the tv did not work. BUT - the tv next door worked. How do I know? Because through the paper thin walls, I could hear the tv blaring away - and the people next door shouting and screaming until 4am. And there was no way to get them to shut up. I tried calling the contact number (as the reception was closed), but no-one answered. As a result - I over slept and was late for a meeting the following day. Finally, the breakfast was an awful experience

Only check in with this hotel if you're okay with dogs. They have a sweet Golden Retriever named Enzo, and he is indeed 34kgs of Pure Love. Room's were unique and had a special touch, perfect for younger generations and the view was perfect, overlooking Granada! Only check in with this hotel if you have the transportation means to get here, its far from the center, around 12km if I'm not mistaken. Breakfast was awesome, their homemade yogurt is really good. Expect Enzo to accompany you everywhere, from when you arrive to check in, til you have breakfast the next day, til you leave the hotel. He's your host, safe to say! It's a homey, cozy home hotel!
