Good hotel within easy walkable distance to main shopping areas. Staff was great and delivered good customer service. Only thing is for them to improve is thier breakfast options. Maybe include more hot food options.

Indigo Hotel(near placa catalunya) is perfectly located within walking distance from Sagrada,casa Batlo, La Rambla and has metro station,bus stops all within 100 m . Staff absolutely fabulous. The rooms are perfect size,Expresso machine in the rooms is a nice touch. Swimming pool a bit small,but was never crowded (everyone is out and about). For us was perfect.

A fantastic hotel so close to the heart of Barcelona. Very child friendly with an amazing breakfast with so many choices and options and such polite and cheerful staff. The pool was a welcome addition after a hot day sight seeing and the rooms were so comfortable. An excellent base to explore the city.

Hotel Indigo was a very convenient hotel great location, nice breakfast, small pool (looks bigger in the pictures but is much smaller) but still nice to have that relaxing option. Staff were very helpful in giving directions, maps and recommendations for dining. Only wish they gave earlier check-in options than 3pm. Otherwise ticks all the boxes.

I booked a non-refundable stay at Hotel Indigo Barcelona – Plaça Catalunya (IHG). Days before my trip, the Israel-Iran war broke out, shutting down airports and borders. As a Palestinian, I was unable to travel — a clear force majeure. I contacted the hotel, not for a refund, but simply to move the booking to August (with many dates available) or get a voucher. Their response? A canned reply stating nothing could be done. The front desk and management showed zero willingness to adjust or even acknowledge the situation. Adding insult to injury, they offered me a 15% discount and “VIP treatment” for a future stay. Honestly, what kind of “VIP treatment” should I expect from a hotel that can’t manage basic human decency? A complimentary apology at check-in? To compare: I had two other non-refundable hotel bookings on the same trip — both allowed me to change dates with no issues. Indigo was the only one that refused outright. If you ever face unexpected circumstances, don't count on this hotel for flexibility or basic courtesy. Rigid, cold, and completely disconnected from what hospitality should be.

Found this hotel in Barcelona last minute and it was quite a surprise! Very clean, comfortable rooms with nespresso and tea machines. Bathrooms were spacious and had nice shampoo and lotion products. Staff was pretty good and very patient and helpful.

Everything was great. Came for the El Classico. The hotel was in a great location where you can walk to or even get a taxi to the places we wanted to visit.

We are 3 including 1 child of 13. The room was big rough to fit 2 beds. The bathroom was big. We were really happy to stay here. The city center is in the walkable distance. The staffs are super nice. I would come back here again.

The room was spacious with a coffee machine and like the pictures. If more than 2 people, the pull out mattress was so thin you could feel the springs. Not comfortable. Pool small however nice. The terrace was lovely. At night you could hear rooms higher walking, plumbing and doirs closing. Gym was nice but very small.

Superior experience with extraordinarily helpful, pleasant and accommodating front desk staff.

The staff was exceptionally helpful & professional. Siebo & Miriam helped us with recommendations for a great restaurant for dinner, helped us with contacting our reserved transport to the cruise terminal. Cannot say enough about how much we appreciate their gracious assistance!
