Hotel Porta Fira

Excelente

Hotel overall was great, great staff receptionist was helpful when we first arrived plus our room was available for early check in which was accommodating since we were tired from our flight. But room was spacious shower and restroom provided amenities but always bring yours would definitely stay at porta fira again when I come back to Barcelona overall had a great experience highly recommend to others

Hotel was cleaned. All of the counter staff were very nice and speak English very well, but the staff in the bar was not very nice at all.

Porta Hotel is amazing.! We loved how easy it was to reach nearby shops and the metro—everything felt just steps away. The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely comeback.

Prime location for metro travel. The red building is something you can’t miss. There is construction going on so I would imagine it’s only going to look better (I would like to come back to see this growth). Initially, the staff was very helpful and welcoming they were able to provide me all the information I needed regarding my reservation and let me know the amenities that were included and what can also be purchased on the side. I do feel that some of the items in the room were overpriced, so I tried not to touch them. The only issue I had was regarding the shower and the caulking that was outdated when I showered there is a hole that would allow water to get out of the shower and I had noticed that the first night let him know that it happened and if I can get more towels. The next day, I completely forgot and almost ended up, hurting myself by slipping. I did make staff aware so I hope that they are fixing the issue before the next reservation.

Close to multiple bus routes and the Metro. There’s a mall next door 50m that has groceries and fast food. Room was comfortable and AC worked great. Staff friendly and easy check in.

The property was well kept and clean. I also loved the breakfast. That was nice for the morning of a cruise..

The Hotel staff were wonderful and courteous. Also, the trip rides of taking the metro were excellent.

Lovely place and location is brilliant

The hotel is very clean and well maintained. It is close to the cruise port and close to a beautiful shopping mall. Just be aware that the property is located in a business district so if you arrive on a Sunday everything is closed including the mall so there is really nothing to do in the area. The breakfast buffet is excellent offering a generous variety of food and definitely worth the money. We did eat dinner at the bar restaurant on the night of arrival which was very good but we felt it was overpriced but aren't all hotel restaurants. Taxis are very convenient and right outside the front door and it cost us 28 euros to the cruise port which we felt was average. The only negative thing we experienced was when we first got into our room it was very hot and the wall thermostat was in Spanish and very confusing to get it started and cool off the room. We plan on returning to this hotel next spring for another cruise and we do recommend it both for convenience to the cruise port and the reasonable price point of the property.

The front desk staff were amazing, very helpful. The staff inside the restaurant were not very friendly.

Great experience at hotel porta fira

Slightly unusual room setup but okay for short stay

Paid for double bed received two single bed and been requesting early check in and messaged hotel in advanced no response. Lady in reception was rude and made us wait for our room. Also gave us two single beds.
