Hotel Du Nord

Great location in the beautiful city of Interlaken. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast and refreshing juices in the mornings. The staff were wonderful and very helpful and friendly. We also enjoyed the great room service which left towels by our door. We had a wonderful stay and I definitely recommend Hotel Du Nord.

I had a pleasant stay at Hotel du Nord Interlaken. I booked the Deluxe Corner Room West rather than the basic room, and I think that made a big difference. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with a lovely balcony and a modern, well-designed bathroom. One nice touch was the complimentary minibar, which was included on arrival. However, it's worth noting that it is only stocked once and isn't refilled during your stay. My main criticism is the price. While the room was very nice, I felt it was somewhat overpriced for what was offered. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I'm not sure the value fully matched the cost.

While booking it said a/c and at the front desk they said there’s no A/c in the hotel. After some time she said there’s a cancellation of other a/c room and she said it will cost extra 280 francs. So we end up paying extra 280 francs. Not happy paying that much for nothing

Location was great. However, the staff was brutal except for the breakfast staff. We were sitting in front of the hotel waiting for the para jumpers to land. We were told we could not sit there. It happened the night before at 10 pm, when we were finishing ice cream. There was NO ONE trying to use these tables!!!!!!We should have been asked if we were guests first before RUDELY being asked to leave. Also, they charge for room keys, if you ask for any extra and do not return them. Do not stay here!!!!!!

We had a great room and view of Interlaken. Weather was very hot, room needed air conditioning. I was advised to use the fan. Later found out another guest had same issue and was offered air con on 5th floor. While a issue highlighted above, staff were very nice. We needed a plug socket converter as our two pin would not fit due to the socket shape. All provided free by hotel............just return on leaving. Thank you.

Excellent stay. Booked last minute and accidentally booked wrong bed configuration. Hôtel worked to help rectify it and really saved me from my error. . Location was excellent and staff was knowledgeable, courteous. Drinks in the mini fridge were a beautiful touch upon arrival. Would absolutely stay again.

Great Hotel and staff was great. The only complaint was that when we left for the day we closed the blondes and pulled the blackout shad over the window so it would keep our room cooled off. When we got baa j the cleaning crew had opened them back up and our room was so hot. I wish they wouldn’t have touched them.

This hotel has an excellent location and is within the walking distance of multiple restaurants, shoppings and train stations. The breakfast is really good and has lots of choices! Unfortunately the room does not have air conditioning, this was especially tough since those days it was very hot in Interlarken. Also, the bathroom is quite small, estfor family.

Aside from no air conditioning, this hotel was fabulous. Central location and walking distance from train station. Extremely friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and bar served great drinks. They even provided us with to-go breakfast bags filled with lots of drinks and food when we left early one morning for a tour. The hotel even provided numerous fans so we could cool down despite the heat. I would stay here again.

Half mile walk from Interlaken OST. Breakfast buffet mediocre at best. Bar tender was annoying and didn’t understand English and mixing drinks. Front desk was always helpful. No air conditioning and it was hot for a 3 night stay.

Check to make aure that the room you’re booking has air conditioning or not, especially in the summers. Not all rooms have air conditioning and it’s an extra charge to get an air conditioned room. There is no staff in the hotel at night. And the hotel doors are locked at 10pm. So if you need something, yoobasically on your own. Otherwise for a short stay this was the only hotel close to where i wanted to be and the stay was ok

Charming, well located hotel. Easy walk from Interlaken Ost. Staff were amazing. Ohly negative - we were there during a heatwave and no AC - only 6 rooms have AC. The rooms did have 2 fans so that helped a bit.

Modern, spacious and clean room overlooking the park with alps views. Such a comfortable stay. We’ll definitely come back!

We had a room with a balcony. It was so spacious and the views out the windows were fantastic. Location was perfect. Easy walk to the train station. Staff was great!

Wonderful stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful, and the hotel was kept beautiful. It is about 6 blocks from the east train station.

Such a pleasant location, walkable, and the hotel staff are extremely supportive and pleasant
