Excellent location and the staff were so helpful with information on the local area and day trips further afield. I did not eat or drink in the hotel but the bar and food did look great.

This hotel had a cute bar/restaurant attached - but unfortunately the heavy heat of the season made the whole place too warm. In fact, in our room, our air conditioning didn't actually work well - despite being on high. They were kind and brought us a great tall fan that helped immensely! The location was good - just a block from the lake and quite walkable for around the city and restaurants nearby. Staff were friendly (but always busy) and the details and decorations were quite unique and tasteful.

Wonderful hotel.
Bit of a walk from the train station, but it's well worth it.
The staff were wonderful. always so helpful and willing to share advice - which was very useful while the G7 protest was going on.
The choice from the breakfast buffet was perfect for my taste.
Regretably, I didn't make use of the bar - but there is always next time!
The hotel is really nicely situated in a quiet area, not far from the lake edge.
I will definately be coming back to this hotel.

Great location in walking distance of the lake, train station, old town and all main sites. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. I stayed in the Junior Suite with Balcony, which was absolutely worth it. The suite was a good size, with a comfortable bed, sitting area and storage options. Everything was kept well stocked and refreshed, and the coffee maker (plus kettle and fridge) and 'little extras' were a welcome addition. I loved the balcony. There is a bar, with a good range of cocktails, and the breakfast buffet has a good range of options (including prosecco/mimosas!). The only suggestion I could make is that the sun loungers on the balcony could possibly be of a more forgiving colour, to help them look nice for longer. I very much enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay here again.

Three night stay for family of four in connecting rooms. Gift and note from the hotel on birthday during stay was a nice and thoughtful touch. Great location for local transport links into the centre and old town. Short walk to lake, swimming area and water bus stops.

LOW VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY
Hotel’s lobby is useless.
Gym had mostly out of order exercise machines.
Buffet breakfast is very expensive.
All in all: less than optimum stay.
