Ferrary Hotel

The below is my personal experience at that hotel a few weeks ago. I booked for a week not the cheapest room there. However, what I got was so bad that I checked out after the 2nd night (as soon as I was able to find another hotel). That is how desperate I was to get out. By losing money on the days after leaving, the rate per night ended up being $690 USD per night!!! Some 5-star hotels don’t cost that much. 1. Upon check-in, they made me sign the paper that NO FLUSHING of TOILET PAPER into the toilet. There, the toilet paper goes into the trash can next to the toilet. 2. The door had a door chain, but the whole mechanism was rusted and bent like somebody was trying breaking in in the past. 3. Walls in the room were uneven and the plain wallpaper looked very cheap and old. 3. Bathroom floor was made of tiles, but had in a several spots with sharp conical things that looked like somebody was trying to fix holes/breaks in tiles instead of replacing them. Walking barefoot cut my feet soles. 4. When I was looking into the bathroom mirror, the light was only behind me. I was not able to see well my face when shaving. 5. Bathroom towel rack was much rusted. 6. Bath tub had no anti-slip anything. The shower curtain had mold. 7. I tried to use air conditioner. There were two panels controlling each room, but all of them were giving me “invalid mode” message. 8. Right across the street of the hotel, there was a major construction site that was making lots of noise early morning.

Clean room. Good enough facilities inside the room. Bright room. Good breakfast for family. Short trip is excellent.

Some receptionists are really finding their way to help you out, some are not as friendly as the others. Except for the strong cigarette smell by the hallway & in the room, the experience was 8 out of 10 as our 3 nights stay was comfortable enough. They have big double bed by the way and they gave us a discount on the extra head per night. Customer service is good at this hotel :)

Room was spacious and clean with windows, but more keys can be issued for travellers staying together but have different schedules.

The hotel is very dated. The hotel has a damp/mould smell in the landings that carry into the rooms. The drains in the bathroom seeps drainage smells strong enough to wake you in the morning. The website makes the rooms look bigger than they are. The only bonus is the staff are friendly and it’s clean enough to tolerate the bad points. If you’re looking for comfort this is not a good choice.

This hotel looks new and location is great. Has parking lot for cars. However, the cleaner aunty is rude and Sometimes receptionist has bad attitude. But what’s intolerable is.... all 4 of us got bitten badly by bedbugs which clearly shows that the bed linen has not been properly washed & handled.

Firstly, the hotel isn't as big as the photo shows as well as the room layout is badly designed. Secondly, the room condition was bad and with some foul smell even when you're at the lobby or lift. The building stated smoke-free. However, almost everywhere has a heavy cigarette smell. Thirdly, the condition inside the rooms are so bad with ceilings peeling off and mold everywhere. Overall the services provided by the staffs are good and they provide a map to navigate around the vicinity as well as going to Ximen station.

Overall, a good stay. The location is very convenient and there are a lot of eateries around. Walking distance to a couple of places of interest. Room facilities are basic and outdated but is clean. Wifi connection is good. There are A LOT of tv channels and always showing good shows. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

I enjoyed staying at your hotel, with comfortable room, friendly & helpful staff, safe & good location. Also I have 2 suggestions: 1) to put a Personal Computer (PC) for your guests at the Lobby area. Somehow I missed checking my emails and online news; 2) to review & maintain properly the equipment at the Gym-12th floor. The exercise cycle was OK but not the two treadmill machines (i.e. one was not working at all and the other one was stopping after 5 minutes using a high speed). Cheers, Nelson.

friendy staff detailed explanation of business district address. hotel close to the shopping area,within 10 min walk. Just 5 minutes to reach the family mart.

Room is spacious , staff is helpful, location is pretty center and transportation is convenient

hotel just 15 mins walking from ximending night market & mrt. great location!

The room and floor has strong cigarette smell, even though there is sign for no smoking on the floor. We requested a change of room to a different floor and is still the same. Breakfast was ok with limited selection, the dinning hall has no elevator. Overall stay was ok.

The hotel is very near to Ximending, famous shopping street of Taipei, just 5 minutes of walking. The hotel condition is also great and the price is fair.

Second time I stayed I was put on the construction floor, so a bit noisy but not during sleeping time. They did not have an airport shuttle like was advertised.

We paid for a non smoking room and got a room smelling bad that my visitor almost vomitted. The pictures just show the good parts of the hotel. The elevator is small. You need to walk up a flight stairs to go to the dining area which makes it extremely inconvenient for senior citizens.

The location of the hotel is really good near one of the main shopping districts of Taipei, Ximending. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, and tried to do their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There's free valet parking at the hotel, which was extremely useful for those who wish to rent a car and drive outside of Taipei.
