Property has great location overlooking Lumpini Park. However rooms facing the park are very noisy 24 hours making it very hard to sleep despite being on top floor. City view rooms are actually quieter! First room I had smelled of mould and I had to change. BathRooms could benefit fro Exhaust fans or dehumidifiers. Otherwise rooms very well appointed, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is ok, slow service, staff often forget orders at peak times.

Still an excellent hotel that I enjoy every time I stay here .... The staff have been absolutely amazing....

The staff were amazing from housekeeping to concierge. Lovey hotel and my room has a spectacular view of the park and beyond. Very very gracious folks and lovely experience. Would def recommend.

Nice hotel in a good location. Rooms are a bit tired and could do with some maintenance, but hotel has good facilities.

Staff was kind and helpful. Beautiful views. Room was clean. Helpful to have access to additional food/ coffee options in the building. Just a little far from the main attractions.

We visited the SO/ Bangkok once before in 2018 and absolutely loved it back then. Unfortunately, our recent stay was a big disappointment, mainly due to the staff. The employees appeared distant, unwelcoming and at times almost arrogant. There was none of the warmth and hospitality Thailand is usually known for. We were traveling with a small child and experienced wonderful child-friendliness everywhere else in Thailand – except at this hotel. We really did not feel welcome. The check-in process was very unorganized and chaotic. Additionally, the condition and cleanliness of the room did not meet the standards one would expect from a 5-star hotel. Last but not least, the pool was extremely cold, which made it unusable, especially with a child. Sadly, this stay did not live up to our previous experience, and we left very disappointed.

Loved the days we spent at the hotel. Exellent servoc from start to end. Fast cleanup. Good food, just missed some joghurt options and sandwich toppings. Too cold hot tub that was the downside.

Breakfast at SO/ Bangkok was an excellent way to start the day. The menu offered a wide variety of options, blending international classics with Thai flavors. From fresh tropical fruits, pastries, and eggs made to order, to local dishes and healthy choices, everything was well presented and consistently fresh. The quality of ingredients really stood out, especially the coffee and hot dishes. The location of the breakfast area adds to the experience, with a stylish, modern design and plenty of natural light. It feels calm yet vibrant, making it ideal whether you’re easing into the morning or preparing for a full day exploring Bangkok. What truly elevated the experience was the service. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, always quick to clear plates or offer assistance. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made us feel very welcome—smiles, polite greetings, and a willingness to accommodate requests made a noticeable difference. Overall, breakfast at SO/ Bangkok combines great food, a beautiful setting, and outstanding service, setting a high standard for hotel dining in the city.

The room was amazing! Very comfortable! The staff was beyond kind and helpful! The location was close to the MRT and BTS. This place is a must stay!
