Ramada by Wyndham Rockville Centre

The tv didn't work, was unable to use because of a screen that popped up asking for the wifi password that wasn't usable with the remote provided. I went to the front desk to inquire about how to use the tv and was told they couldn't help. No local amenity info or hotel info provided in the room, asked front desk was told they didn't have any information to provide me. Ineeded help one morning and was told nobody knew when front desk staff would arrive. The room was clean and the water pressure was great. All day and night, the smell of pot was wafting into the room. People around me constantly loud and cleaners were slamming doors around me and woke me up repeatedly. Was really expecting more from Ramada wyndham and was very disappointed especially for the cost of the stay. Was very disappointed with the quality of the breakfast, lack of staff's ability to help with my room. Felt very unsafe outside, people were sleeping in cars in the lot overnight. Will not return.

The bed was alder and the room too small

We were constantly being woken up by a few guys talking loud, screaming at each other, etc. throughout the night. The man making all the noise ether lives there full time or is an employee who gets free room and board. It was awful!

My stay started off ok Had a great conversation with the gentlemen at the front desk. HOWEVER at night early morn when I arrived back to warm up coffee my I was immediately profiled by the gentleman at the front counter I sat my stuff down on the counter and he immediately started telling me to move my stuff and that he is running this hotel I dont want your stuff on my counter he was rude nasty and then started to to walk to the phone to call police. All I told him was he didnt have to be rude and speak to me like he did . He assumed I was drunk or something I didnt expect to be treated or profiled by a person just as dark as me..

Was confortable for a couple days. Shower was missing a curtain but they fixed the issue quick. Breakfast was decent. Was pretty quiet- location was safe too. I would have given 5 stars but saw a cockroach on the last day.

Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom door needed to be replaced as the bottom of the door is destroyed

Felt more like a motel 6 than a Ramada

First room had a dirty pillow with makeup on it told the receptionist and he told me do they want me to change the sheet? I said no I want a new room that room wasn’t cleaned. Dust all over the room.

Well from the 1st Day of Check in the Host Was Rude he apt like my reservation was canceled, due to Expedia new check in policy before you arrive,,So he called them and they confirmed my reservation. The was at the back of the hotel dark were the trash goes out, The tub was broken, as well as the Lock on the door, Saturday maintenance came and couldn’t fix the tub nor the lock , so had to switch too another room

If you’re looking for a kick back this is it and even then it’s so bad here you’re better off taking that risk at an upper scale hotel just bring air fresheners and room spray.

Clean n safe n great staff

The place was very clean and comfortable. The hot water took awhile to come on but that was it. Bed was very big and cozy. Cable tv had all the channels which was amazing.

Room was up stairs, no elevator. Room was cold, had to request extra blankets.

I'll never stay there again it is not safe. The doors to the rooms are not secure. There were roaches crawling in the sink. The bathroom is super small the door barley closes to access the toilet. Worst place I've ever stayed. When I complained of the roaches management refused to give me refund. I do not recommend!

I arrived around 5:30 pm - the first room I was given in this "Completely Non-Smoking" facility, was located on the dark side of the parking lot and smelled terribly of cigarette smoke. I returned to the desk clerk for a different room assignment. Room #2 (on the well-lit side), had a door that simply would not open. The desk clerk also made several failed attempts only to blame the maintenance crew. Room #3 did not smell of cigarettes and the door opened. So, I accepted that room and went out for the evening. Upon my return for the night, I realized this room had a strong smell of marijuana, which I was told the management cannot control. Also, the hot water was not working. After several tries, I found hot water came from the "Cold" faucets. The next morning, I went to the desk clerk, explained the issues (he said "...Oh yeah, the faucets are reversed in that room"), and requested a different room. Room #4 was smaller, not well-lit, and had dirty carpet - no thank you. Instead, I went to the market, bought a strong room freshener spray, and returned to room #3 for my stay. Later that morning, room #3 door would not open. I returned to the desk clerk again, was told not to put my room key anywhere near my phone, car keys, or wallet (what?!?) While the personnel were friendly and helpful, the facility was very poor, not Non-Smoking, and I was not offered a discount for my inconvenience. I will not be staying there again and do not recommend this property.
