Initially, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The location is very convenient, with the MARTA station nearby and most attractions within a 15–30 minute walk. Dining options were also a highlight, offering a wide range of vegetarian, non-vegetarian, dairy, and non-dairy choices—very accommodating for different dietary needs.
However, my experience took a negative turn. During my stay, I noticed what I thought were mosquito bites on my neck, but after returning home and doing some research, I realized they may have been bedbug bites. Even more concerning, upon stepping outside the building I saw a notice posted by the City of Atlanta stating that the structure was “dangerous and unsafe.” This was never mentioned in the listing, and had I known, I would not have booked the hotel.
The breakfast service was also disappointing. Despite arriving right as breakfast began around 7:00 a.m., I found very few plates available, sometimes none at all. When I asked a staff member for utensils, she sighed and handed them to me reluctantly, which did not feel very welcoming.
Overall, while the location and food options were strong points, the safety concerns and poor service left me with a negative impression.
