Buse at the front desk was just exceptional! She handled some minor issues with such speed and efficiency, she is truly an asset to this company. The daily breakfast is outstanding in quality, service and variety. The pool is truly an added bonus being warm , large and having a hot tub. Even though I was not able to use the gym area it looked great! I highly recommend a stay at The Leonardo not only for its appeal but for the ease of walk ability to anything you may need or want. Also main train station about 10 min walk.

The room is clean, quiet. It is located in convenient location, only take 5 min walk to Tudor house & Garden, Westquay mall..etc.

Had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is very clean (a little bit dated in places) and I had a wonderful time. Customer service was more than excellent. Lots of care taken with me in the Spa by Beth and Kirsty, top notch waiting on service by Lydia in the restaurant, and a big shout out to Rhiannon in the café bar!

Clean large room, poor lighting, cramp space to place stuff. Staff fabulous, very helpful. TV Selection poor. WiFi worked well. Excellent breakfast. Pillows very poor and cheap, uncomfortable. Bed very comfortable. Has room service with limited selection.

The staff were friendly and the room was spacious. There were a lot of things that detracted from the experience though: lifts not working, power sockets broken, heated towel rail permanently off, people playing in the pool with balls (despite this being prohibited), broken lockers… it sadly made an otherwise good experience frustrating. Not what I would have expected for the price paid.

The room was very clean. All the staff were friendly from reception, restaurant, Leo’s bar and cleaning. I always feel welcome.

Good location

I was apprehensive after reading some reviews, but once at the hotel I was extremely pleasantly surprised. The staff were ALL very friendly, my room was wonderful (I stayed in room 402). The pool was a lovely temperature, a very enjoyable experience. The hot tub was super hot, sauna was great.. unfortunately the wet sauna was out of order. Breakfast was fabulous! I ordered an omelette, which was made to order, it tasted delicious! I had a great stay and would be very happy to return!

Lovely hotel, easy to find and park

Clean spacious room. Water view, but high window meant you have to stand to see ships etc. Good bathroom and shower.

Hotel is a bit tired. One lift out of order made the other two very busy at times. In our room, the light when you entered the room wasn't working and no matter what we did with the heating controls the room never seemed to warm up. The shower control was very stiff to turn off. Lots of mould around the window reveals. In the glazed area where the bar was, you can see where some panes have leaked and there is corrosion and paint peeling. Staff were friendly.

Lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Very comfortable beds. Generally a lovely stay with great choice at breakfast. My only criticism is that the drinks at the bar are a little on the pricey even for a four star hotel. But still enjoyed the lovely deco and would recommend this hotel.

Easy check in and check out. Loved the ability to cast from phone into tv. Nice coffee pods in room. WiFi good. Pool good. Thank you for storing luggage for the day.

Comfy big beds nice and clean great value for money nice staff extended are parking for another day for free so we could shop without worry amazing

Lovely stay

Good gym. Nice restaurant My room was way too hot. The curtains had been left open all day before my check in with the sun directly beaming into the room. Front desk agreed to get maintenance to to switch on the A/C. But they didn’t bother. The temperature was unbearable The stench of drains around the lobby was awful Staff unable to pre-with my cars for use in the restaurants. I won’t stay here again

Lovely clean spacious rooms and loved the pool

Lovely room, but the view of the port was spoiled by the windows being desperate in need of cleaning, which I understand probably isnt easy with the building shape and glazing. Bar and restaurant area was really nice, dinner was nice, breakfast was just ok. I wanted to use the pool but it was off during our stay and the gym was tierd. But as we was only there a couple of nights, pre cruise, it was fine. We would choose again, but possibly not bother with a port view room upgrade unless windows were sorted.

The internet connection was good. All the staff were very friendly. The room was very clean and the taps and controls were sparkling in the bathroom.
