Noise and smell

Great location in Madrid and nice rooftop hotel

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was a good size for two travelers and the bathroom was a good size too. Our room was nice and quiet despite the hotel location being on a large street. We loved the city view too. We were able to have breakfast one of the days and there was a large selection of delicious food. We were able to eat and drink at the rooftop and that was very fun. The view was beautiful.

Modern and chill

The rooftop itself was worth the stay but the front desk was very helpful, the breakfast and restaurant staff excellent, and the rooms clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only knock was construction noise and mess on the lower floors.

Muy buen servicio en todas las áreas

I booked my reservation for the day before my arrival since my flight would arrive in the morning and I didn’t want to wait til normal check in time to gain access to my room. I’m aware of the additional cost but appreciate the convenience of getting into my room promptly upon arrival. I notified the hotel of this via the Expedia app prior to my arrival and again on the first day of my reservation. On the first day of my reservation, the hotel contacted me via the Expedia app and directed me to check-in via their site. I promptly did so, providing all passport details and names. I also responded to them via the Expedia app confirming it was completed. Upon landing in Madrid from a trans-Atlantic flight, I received the message that my reservation had been cancelled for failure to check-in on the start date and failure to notify them. They did charge my card for the first day. When Expedia contacted the hotel on my behalf, they were told the reservation was cancelled. Expedia assisted me in finding a last minute hotel in an area further away from my desired location that was more expensive. Despite this hotel’s ability to communicate to me via the Expedia app they seem unable or unwilling to acknowledge/read communications sent to them via the same app.

Overall, I loved my stay

The floor in my room was very loud! Close to the elevators and the construction 🚧 or remodeling that they were doing. The rooftop is great!

Great location, so easy to walk to many places. Would definitely love to come back.

Comfortable room but noise from other rooms, hallways and etc was a lot. But otherwise great hotel as always!

Clean room and friendly staff

Loved everything about H10 Puerta de Alcalá! The building, the atmosphere, my room, the view, and the service. I would definitely stay there the next time I visit Madrid.
