Laundry room closed. Good burger restaurant in Hotel. Noisy hotel room noise, odd stairs not good for handicapped. You get what you pay for

Wondered why my room was not cleaned first 2 days so went to front desk. Lady says "you had to let us know by 10pm if you wanted the room cleaned". Nobody told us this. Had NO idea. So I asked if we coukd have our room cleaned for today, she said no. Could we at least ger fresh towels? She said maybe, would check. Came back to room at 4pm.... NOTHING! Staff are powerless. No ability to pivot of a situation or make a deciaion. "Rules are rules" I guess. Liked the hotel but will probably stay across street next time. GREAT restaurant at hotel though which was highlight.

Room wasn't very clean. No sealing around the door so all night the noise was nonstop. Just an old hotel. Parking sucked. Laundry machines weren't working. Had to fight for hot water. Other wise great beds, good towels, easy to get to in a great location.

Clean room, decent view. Close to a late night ferry arrival and just needed rest. Best sleep ever. The main floor restaurant had just what I needed before hitting the road.

The stairwell is awkward and better signage needed for workout room. Microwave in rooms would be a good touch. Apparently microwave on 3rd floor. I didn’t check. Lounge good service and good food. A little price.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff!

I stay at this hotel every single time I come to Nanaimo. The location is exceptional. The views are amazing. It's fun to watch the planes and boats come in and out of the harbour, right from the window of your room. It's an old building (apparently the old opera house),but that's parts of it's boutique charm. Parking lot is small, so kinda tough if you have a large vehicle, but the location and staff are great.

Great location. Had some challenges checking in. Housekeeping was not regularly provided.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. We had a room with a harbour view which was fantastic. The room had everything we needed for our stay. Great location with free parking.

Hotel is great, front desk staff are wonderful, attention to detail, friendly, accommodating and making your stay special! It’s conveniently located and reasonably priced.
