Very good value for money. Rooms clean and comfortable. Close to all the amenities. Breakfast was lovely. Entertainment was enjoyable.

Stayed for one night to attend an event in the Folkestone Creative Arts centre. Would definitely stay here again. We had a lovely twin room with a balcony overlooking the harbour and couldn't have asked for anything better. Many thanks.

All I wanted was a comfortable bed and a shower. Me and 2 old uni friends where on a long weekend cycling along the south coast and we stopped here for an overnight to get some rest before heading on. My bed was worn out and not only could you feel every one of the old springs, they 'clanged' when you moved. The shower was either cold or had so low water pressure that the divert valve for the bath wouldn't send water to the shower head. When we arrived, one of the lifts didn't work. By the morning, all of them had failed and none of the buttons worked on our floor. Someone from reception had to manually override the lifts to get us. Oh, and one of the panels had fallen through. On top of that, it seems like a lot of people use it as a base for parties so I was woken up many times with revellers in the corridor. Yes it cheap. No I would never stay there again. At best it's worn out and at worse it's a death trap.

Everything I needed in the room, friendly staff and a pleasant break. Great breakfast and a view to die for. We will be back

I've been working in the area, and this hotel has been great. quiet, well appointed room with good facilities with a good bar and relaxed restaurant. There was even a pool if I had brought my trunks!

Had a lovely stay over Easter weekend. The entertainment was good and staff very friendly. Rooms were clean. Unfortunately, one lift was out of action so it took a while to and from our room.

As I am down at Burstin regularly I am very familiar with this hotel and know what to expect and if any different I am more than happy to make any requests to Reception who are very helpful and deal with any problems rapidly and effectively

They have a gym room and swimming pool. They also got breakfast and dinner buffets and individual dishes to be ordered. They have a bar area serving sandwiches and cakes with tea and coffee in daytime after 11am. They are highly recommended for families with kids and elderly.

The bathroom layout wasn’t very user friendly. The bin nowhere near the toilet and the toilet paper around a corner. There wasn’t towels for two despite being a double room and no mat for the floor. There were stains on the wall of the bathroom also.

We arrived at midnight with my elderly parents and there room was one side of the hotel and our the other side it looks like a prison in side with block A and block B ataff not very helpful would not recommend to anyone not the cleanest hotel wirk in laying carpets in the day time taking up the lifts my mum and dad where told they could not sit in reception to wait for me and my wife to come down and my dad told them where to go and they are not every good on there feet so they just told the staff they wernt moving till i got there but they weren't very happy about it

Did contact property regarding wanting a bigger bath and hand rails to help getting in and out of bath .also didnt get room booked .ended up with another room with a 2nd bed .heater kept going off .
