All I wanted was a comfortable bed and a shower.
Me and 2 old uni friends where on a long weekend cycling along the south coast and we stopped here for an overnight to get some rest before heading on.
My bed was worn out and not only could you feel every one of the old springs, they 'clanged' when you moved.
The shower was either cold or had so low water pressure that the divert valve for the bath wouldn't send water to the shower head.
When we arrived, one of the lifts didn't work. By the morning, all of them had failed and none of the buttons worked on our floor. Someone from reception had to manually override the lifts to get us. Oh, and one of the panels had fallen through.
On top of that, it seems like a lot of people use it as a base for parties so I was woken up many times with revellers in the corridor.
Yes it cheap. No I would never stay there again. At best it's worn out and at worse it's a death trap.
