As someone who also works in the hospitality industry, I completely understand that hotels can get very busy, especially with groups. However, I believe guests should still receive proper attention and care.
This morning, I couldn’t get a seat for breakfast and ended up standing for quite some time. I even mentioned to the staff that I hadn’t been able to sit down when I returned my plate without eating anything at all, but unfortunately, no one followed up or tried to assist further.
I truly understand operational challenges, but from a hospitality perspective, a simple acknowledgment or effort to help would have made a big difference. That’s why the experience felt quite disappointing for me.
