Furama RiverFront

I and my wife used to stay in Furama Riverfront Hotel 2 to 3 times every year. The hotel staff was genuinely warm and made us feel welcome each day. The cleaner by the name Joy is very helpful and she still can remember us when she sees us. She will greed us every morning with a smiling face. We like the environment and the food there. We enjoyed drinking and eating every evening at the Waterfall Lounge. The staff who served us was Kelvin and his team Virginia, Sara, Frizal and Benny. Their service is good and friendly. Every morning we have our breakfast at the Apollo Cafe, Crisna and her BF team was Yong, Michella, Mugi, Amir, Hua also served us well too. We also met Iskander this morning and happy that he still can remember us although we did not see him during our last stay few months ago. The food there are very nice and delicious. We were also glad to meet the chef Dexter this morning. All the staff there were really courteous and showed they cared. Thank you so much everyone and we shall be back in August again.

Room cleanliness is ok . Carpeted floors seemed old .

Staff were all friendly and shop right next to hotel entrance which was highly convenient

Our room was dated and the carpet was extremely dirty. We had to get our own towels as none were in the room when we arrived. No closet. No hooks to hang up towels or clothes. Lots of wear and tear in our room.

There is a shopping mall and a few other things for families.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful Hotel, very clean, friendly staff and shops and tourist attractions are amazing. Thank you Furama Hotel.

Room is clean, staff is friendly, thoughtful and helpful; amenities are sufficient. Easy parking at Hotel. Also, MRT Station TE16 is within 5-10 minutes walk. Chinatown is located at less than 20 minutes walk.

My choice of hotel revolves around finding a comfortable room at a reasonable price. This hotel ticked all the boxes. Only complaint is that it is a fair 10 minute walk in humidity to the nearest MRT Station with a bus stop a little closer. Taxis are reliable and not too expensive.

Room in poor condition particularly the bathroom. Toilet dirty around lid hinges. Ordered meal by scanning QR code on table. After half an hour checked on progress to be told the order had not gone through. Reordered from the bar. Arrived after 40 minutes but both meals cold. Sent the meals back and asked for refund which was processed but will take about two weeks to arrive in my account. All staff pleasant and helpful

Clean room, gotten free upgrade during check-in, breakfast is average and there is a small area beside the reception which is popular with kids. Too bad the indoor playground is only open from Thursday to Sunday.

When we first arrived, we were given an upgrade to an Executive Suite over the Courtyard Club room we ordered. After arriving at our suite, and noting how nice the floor and room smelt, we decided it wasn't right for us, and the originally booked Courtyard Club room was more appropriate to our liking, so we asked to swap back to our booked room. Upon arriving on floor 5 for our courtyard room, we noticed a heavy musty stench, possibly even moldy throughout the entire floor. The room itself was not much better in regards to smell. Partway through our stay, maintenance attempted to gain access to our room. This was worrisome, as I did not hear them knock at all, and with the lack flicked, you can still see directly into the shower, which was in use at the time, which you can clearly hear from outside the room. I presumed this was because they thought the room was unoccupied at the time, due to the room switch from earlier. We attempted to use the pool facilities, which is when we realized there was no way to use the direct pool access feature of our room without leaving our room entirely unlocked. The pool itself was quite filthy, with what appeared to be mold floating around. The staff were amazing. The club benefits of refreshments and nibbles were very nice. The included breakfast was good, but nothing special. The pool needs a good, regular clean. Floor 5 needs to be inspected for mold, and heavily sanitized. The Direct Poolside Access Rooms need a carded security lock.
