The hotel is modern, cool, and conveniently located close to everything you need in Luxembourg. It’s not our first stay there, we had 2 adjacent rooms (family of 4). The only thing missing is a gym in the hotel, although there are 2 gyms nearby within walking distance.

Fantastic, fun hotel in the midst of Kirchberg, 2 minutes walk from Philhamonie tram stop, 16 minutes from the airport and 10 into the Grund. Very quirky, with lots of little touches and an excellent bar. Sunday brunch is a must, as is the boulangerie, which serves excellent coffee and a range of delicious pastries. You must try the raspberry croissant - it's sublime! Highly recommended. We will most definitely be back!

There was an awful smell in the bathroom throughout my stay. I reported it to the front desk but nothing was done about it. I later discovered it was the shower drain but the smell was pungent

A pleasant stay. It’s in the modern part of the city and an easy tram ride to the old town. Rooms and style are what you would expect if you have stayed at a Mama Shelter before. Fun, stylish, playful. I did find having the same soap to wash your hair and body a little disconcerting and at first thought they forgot to place the shampoo and conditioner in the room. It worked though. The bed was very comfortable and it was in a very quiet location so perfect for light sleepers. Breakfast was very good. With even fresh fruit and vegetables to make your own juice Sadly, dinner was a disappointment. Grilled squid was like old shoe leather which you couldn’t even cut with a knife. It was an extremely busy night so service was hit and miss too so maybe the kitchen just couldn’t cope. A very generous garlic bread so that hit the spot. Overall, it was good and worth checking out.

Love this hotel chain. Very fun vibe, staff was super friendly, bar was poppin late night. Will look for them again if I travel to France.

It's a beautiful hotel and convenient, but I couldn't have any sleep! They have a cute restaurant onsite, that said, people were parting and music going on all night, not great as the rooms aren't soundproof! Then once the party was over morning and loud walkers started to pass by, not a great experience! They should do something to make the room soundproof!

Mama Shelter is conveniently located in Kirchberg, close to the tramway line. The hotel is very modern and cosy, the rooms are comfortable and generous. The restaurant and bar as well as the bakery are all good with a tasty modern and fun atmosphere. We stayed in 2 connecting rooms with our 2 daughters. Our kids just loved the fun and cool vibe of this wonderful and not too expensive hotel. We will be back for sure !

Amazing luxurious stay in this cool and quirky hotel. Very easily reachable by tram from the train station and to the city centre. Delicious bakery on site of the hotel and amazing food in the restaurant. Very helpful and friendly staff. Lovely comfortable bed and amenities, would definitely recommend

My family and I had a nice stay at Mama shelter. It was a quick walk and even quicker tram ride from the Pfaffenthan-kirchberg train stop. The hotel workers were friendly and held our bags until we were able to check in. They gave us ideas about things to do in the area as well as some restaurants. We ended up getting some pastries at the Mama bakery downstairs and they was fabulous! We slept well in a quiet room with two queen size beds. It was really nice to have a large room available in Europe! The room was clean and unique. We would stay again.

Amazing place

Went to Luxembourg to stay away from the craziness of the New Year’s Eve – hence I wanted to have a quiet moment to end the year. Guess what -- it was not sadly. There was a night club-like loud event on the roof top with loud heavy metal music until 3am because it was a New Year’s Eve. This was clearly audible from my room. The fact that it had a nice room design and comfortable bedding, it had a very poor sound proof. The reception area is very small despite the fact the hotel has huge space for a restaurant and a roof top terrace (where there was a loud event!). The reception area only had one huge table and a small table with lots of chairs. The reception area can be packed like crazy if its busy. Worst sleep and I would not come back to this place again. Not recommended for everyone. Avoid at any cost.
