Hotel was in a great location for what we needed for our stay in Cairns. Just wished the rooms had balconies and we could let fresh air into the room. Will stay again but next time in a better room. Staff were excellent

Firstly, the welcoming staff were wonderful and helpful and the place itself is very pleasant. The security, parking and outdoor pool area is well organised, attractive and comfortable – the enjoyable outdoor spa was a little tricky to turn on though. The rest of the service was, unfortunately, rather limited and restricted like the extremely narrow single beds: No room servicing in 3 nights; Only 1 face washer for 2 people; no towel changes etc.; No router connection to internet on the tv – and the outsourced technical service assistance was not forthcoming. The reception and bar/restaurant were clearly not technically linked – unable to charge drinks to the room and unaware of our breakfast booking made 3 days earlier – since there was unexpectedly no food service over the weekend. Disgracefully, this pre-paid breakfast did not include tea, coffee or any juice – and the additional payment of 11 dollars for our 2 mugs of coffee was required before any movement was started towards preparing our eggs. We picked at the remains of cold bits on the buffet table till our eggs arrived – the buffet being simultaneously dismantled.

In renovation mode. Restaurant not operating so sent up the street to a very busy and costly cafe for breakfast. Ramp entry difficult to manage by aged customers with suitcases. A mechanical buzzing sound at frequent intervals during the night kept interupting sleep. Surronds not very pleasant.

The area looks run down and unsafe. It is surrounded by tatoo shops, adult store, and cheap motels. The internet does not work in the room. It barely works in the lobby. TV does not work in the room.Hot tub is barely warm.

The place is nice, staff were great, the pool area is big and nice. The pool is not heated but large enough.
The have a bar/eating area only serves breakfast.
It is about 10-15 minutes walk to the main eating areas and also the mall
