Great location and facilities. Sad that the outdoor spa was cold. Looking forward to a hot tub.

Checking in the staff was helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and larger than expected. The room was in good condition and had a microwave and fridge.
The hotel was within walking distance of the esplanade, Central train station, shopping and the marinas.
The breakfast was a buffet on the weekend and it was as good as I’ve had in a while. The weekday breakfast was a small cafe , Goose Cafe, 30 m to the north. You get a $20 credit for breakfast. No complaints here. I had bf and a large flat white for <$5.
The pool and spa looked inviting but I didn’t use them.
Overall I enjoyed my stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.
Tip: ask for a room on the poolside - away from the street and you’ll see sunrise.

Nothing really exciting but you get all the basics at a fair price. Process to get on the WiFi is a bit annoying as it kept logging out and prompted for passcode. Requires a bit of walking if you want to hunt for food or supermarkets (around 10 min walk).

Parking was nice and secure. Great location, lovely staff. However, we paid for a buffet breakfast every morning, which is the reason we booked this property, only to be given a gift voucher of $20 each pp per day for a cafe up the road, which did not cover the cost of a meal and a coffee, so we had to always pay extra. If we knew this prior, we would not have stayed at this hotel. We also went downstairs for happy hr and had to pay full price.

Clean property with large room. Would recommend not booking the mountain view room as it looks over a busy road. About a 20 min walk to the Esplande were all of the restaurants were located.
