A really good place to stay, you don’t need to go anywhere else there is plenty to do and see around there. Very clean, good staff and don’t miss the buffet breakfast, it’s phenomenal. All round I recommend it to everyone 👍

We had a wonderful time at the Anchorage. Our room was towards the end of the boardwalk which gave us an amazing outlook from our room. We had great weather and wonderful sunsets. Breakfast had everything you could dream of eating and beautifully presented. A second comfortable chair would be really nice as dining chairs not comfortable for casual sitting [reading]. A beautiful place to chill out and enjoy the surroundings.

The facilities were disappointing for property that charge almost $1000 per night - no gym and no access to the overpriced spa unless a treatment was booked. Wanted to use the sauna and jacuzzi and was prepared to pay for that and was not allowed eventhough it was not in use. Property looks fine but overpriced for what you get during a mid week stay. There was a large corporate function so unfortunately had to pay the full rate and was charged additional for a small upgrade. Breakfast was good and birthday chocolates were appreciated. Next time I would only stay with a Luxury Escape package, it’s much better value.

Beautiful location with plenty to do, beach, fishing, swimming pools , walking paths. Also within a short drive to Port Stephens. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.
