The standard of the rooms are exceptional. Great size and views over the harbour. Staff are attentive and the location is fabulous for access to everything Port Stephens has to offer.

Sophisticated and impeccable! Gorgeous views, very well done environment. Could have stayed for much longer.

Our first time staying at The Anchorage and it was everything we'd imagined - the perfect choice for our anniversary weekend! From the moment we stepped into reception to check in, the hospitality staff went above and beyond! We loved the celebratory champers to welcome us for our stay. Thank you especially to Katrina who made it all happen (so grateful to you for fixing up the room hiccup). We had the Anchorage Room, Dalton House section first floor, balcony overlooking the marina - beautiful views. Bed was large and comfy, spacious room and very clean. Nice touch with the bottle of bubbly and greeting card awaiting us in our room. Breakfast was included in our stay and the buffet breakfast was wonderful. Again, the staff at the Galley Kitchen were just amazing! Highly recommend The Anchorage - we are looking forward to staying here again in the warmer months and also making a booking at the spa!

The Anchorage has always been a delightful destination for our short stays. We cannot fault the property in any way. It is a beautiful destination.

Had the seafood platter for dinner and it was amazing. Then buffet breakfast that was also delicious, no complaints.

Brilliant getaway

Breakfast buffet had good choices but bacon not served hot. Otherwise excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Venue has great facilities and a beautiful location with water views

The facilities were disappointing for property that charge almost $1000 per night - no gym and no access to the overpriced spa unless a treatment was booked. Wanted to use the sauna and jacuzzi and was prepared to pay for that and was not allowed eventhough it was not in use. Property looks fine but overpriced for what you get during a mid week stay. There was a large corporate function so unfortunately had to pay the full rate and was charged additional for a small upgrade. Breakfast was good and birthday chocolates were appreciated. Next time I would only stay with a Luxury Escape package, it’s much better value.

Beautiful location with plenty to do, beach, fishing, swimming pools , walking paths. Also within a short drive to Port Stephens. The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic hotel with fabulous surroundings. Accommodation was superb. We visited over Easter Sunday so the Spa was closed but the pool area and service was excellent Great breakfast choices with quality produce and staff were really attentive We didn’t eat dinner in the hotel preferring to go out and sample local restaurants but the restaurant did seem busy For us, the only negative was the bar prices which were very high.

Excellent welcome, beautiful hotel in an amazing setting. One of the best breakfasts we've had. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location, grounds and room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Came away feeling very relaxed!

The room was a good size and spotless. The grounds were well maintained and the food and staff were amazing.

Staff were so lovely. Great facilities and really well kept. We loved the extra touches in the rooms and daily servicing. Breakfast was so good. I don't normally like a buffet breakfast but there was a lot of choice and it was good quality too, frequently topped up.

カジキ釣りのために滞在しました。獲物は釣れませんでしたが、豊かな自然とホテルライフは最高でした！

The restaurant service was appalling. The staff were good but the cooks couldn’t cope resulting in long waits between courses. In the morning we were told we only have one coffee machine so you’ll have to wait!! I like my coffee with my breakfast and not 15 minutes after I’ve finished. Shame how the kitchen fails the hotel. After such bad service on our first night we ate out rather than be disappointed.

The lack of a proper outdoor spa in either of the pool areas is a surprising drawback for a facility of this quality.
