Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge

My room was super clean and surrounded by wildlife. I also booked a treatment at the Waldheim spa as well as two times the private sanctuary (at it was just stunning). The crew over there was so so nice. Especially Senna who gave me lots of nice recommendations about the area and north east of tassie. A wonderful and absolutely unexpected breathtaking stay! I also loved that you can spot platypuses in the lake at the lodge.

The pictures are misleading - it is not 'lakeside', they have a small pond on site. Location is great, with many nice treks starting from the hotel and super great location for cradle mountain. Other than that, nothing to shout about. The cabins are very simple, definitely not a 4 star resort.

Great location next to the mountains with lots of potential activities available. Room was clean, staff were friendly although the service in the restaurant for dinner was quite slow.

Clean room, friendly staff and loved the room with balcony where we could view all the wildlife in evenings.

Highland restaurant good but pricey. Breakfast was good. Shout out to Bryan (front desk), Hannah and Mattias(?) on food service who all made it very pleasant. Laundry was available and used - great if you are touring. Room in a cabin away from the main building. Good size with free wine and crisps. Bathroom a bit dated. Hotel has an exceptional position and the “Enchanted walk” was great wombats, platypus and wallabies all in action around the hotel. Not 5 star but I would definitely go back if walking in the Cradle NP again.

the staff, the amenities and the wildlife!

Food choices were very ordinary. Accommodation was ok. Location was great. Staff were not professional. Tended to give incomplete answers to questions or didn’t know answers for things they should know.

King Billy Suite was spectacular. Was too warm to justify using the fire place in the room but everything else was perfect.

Clean room

Location, location, location! Great spot in easy reach of all that the National Park has to offer. Beautiful surroundings. Nice staff. Cosy rooms and lodge but in need of a makeover. Wi Fi limited to main building and patchy there anyway. Breakfast offering pretty ordinary. You can do better Accor!

Beautiful place to stay and enjoy Cradle Mountain. Rooms were comfortable and warm. Bistro was great, good food and serve sizes.

Pencil pine room with bakcony. Balcony surrounded by shrubs. No view. Room mice with gas glame fire, but bed terrible. Like sleeping on a brick and only a double size. Stayed 3 x nights. No sleep at all 3rd night. If stay was longer i would have booked into another hotel. Room pricey. Bed cheap and very hard. Must do better

Food needed some improvement The eggs at breakfast should NOT be powdered when paying $40 and the requested fried egg was somehow half raw Also the steak was over cooked at the tavern Room service would be amazing if you’d add it The rage was perfect no notes Loved the location

Lovely room. we received an upgrade which was lovely. slept like a baby

The staff were very helpful and the room was spotless. The complimentary biscuits, kitkats and wine was an extra special touch and the guest laundry was close by and free to use. The lodge is very picturesque with beautiful walks right at the front of reception.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean with complimentary extras. Great experience.
