YEHS Hotel Sydney Harbour Suites

Issues when checking in as they wanted to overcharge above what the booking invoice was stating. Room wasn’t ready on time. The security deposit has not been released yet. Not to mention hospital looking bathroom with a toilet seat missing the cover and no hand wash soap or other amenities available. Staff was poorly communicating and has made our checking process frustrating and lengthy. The check in issue was rectified only after my call to Expedia that contacted the hotel

Very tidy room, bathroom was very nice with a Japanese toilet. Friendly staff.

The room was okay. We stayed for two nights to help with jet lag after a 15 hour flight to Sydney. Unfortunately, the room was considerably out of date for what we paid to stay here. The AC and power didn’t work unless you left a key card in a little receptacle in your room. The bathroom and bedroom had a weird smell, and the room wasn’t the cleanest. The staff and location, however, were impeccable. Quite frankly, the one reason it’s rated this high.

The beds were stiff as a rock, I might as well have slept on the kitchen counter. It was filthy under the beds. The parking was very limited and way too compact.

Okay but compared to the Meriton Suites on Liverpool Street just a bit older. Still Ok and facilities (washing machine/dryer etc) and staff good but slightly tired. I booked a double and twin thinking it was a hotel but actually each apartment slept 4 a double and twins in the main room.

The rooms where absolutely disgusting and very well outdated , urgent refurbishment works required , what a waste of money for a 2 star residence

Good location but rooms need a renovation, we also ended up with an accessible bathroom and water from the shower went everywhere and there was no storage.

For a motel that has boasted of renovations and depicts some nice rooms on the website, we seriously lucked out. To give credit, the bedroom was nicely decorated. The addition of a TV made part of it dysfunctional losing the luggage bench. Our room was definitely not renovated. It was very tired and unloved. From the lightshades so dusty they looked furry, the toilet that took 10-15 mins to refill between flushes, the lack of a vanity or make-up mirror, holes in the tiles and general neglect, it fell well short expectations after a positive experience at another YEHS. Staff were generally nice enough. Also it is very noisy at night being close to a major road connection. This may have been better on higher gloors or in different rooms.

The location of the hotel is very good. Lots of dining options, shopping and walkable. Unfortunately our room was a disappointment. We were on the 16th floor. The room and the bathroom had a musty smell. We notified the front desk who said the smell was from new carpets that just got put in.

AC was not working and bathroom was horrible and dirty.

Room & furniture is old and bath tub is broken. Oven is very oily and dirty by previous occupants. Staff is helpful and friendly. Amenities is ok but could be better. Car park is very small wuth extremely tight corners. Dirty as well with renovating equipment and storages....

Clean place and receptionist are very helpful and very accessible to everything.

I had a really nice stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well taken care of. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I would recommend it to others.

Parking was very difficult. Not grat to navigate at l. Little wonder there werent any other. srs there
