Great location!

Close to shops and restaurants. Car park was limited and had some very tight spaces.

Good for longer stay. Convenient.

The room was decent with modern touches. There is a slight smell when you run the water initially but then goes away. There hotel is in a great location and the staff are very friendly (Thank you Mild)

The room I stayed was very spacious with 1 Queen + 3 single beds equipped. The bathroom was also oversized wheelchair accessible design. The building itself was a bit dated but served the purpose well.

We got cheap rates (46%off) which made it reasonable but wouldn’t pay full price. It’s clean but a bit tired and aging. The bed was leaning and tilting on one side. Good enough for short stays for sure

The room was straight out of the 60's and tired. Got email from hotel after checking out that hotel was just purchased and needs refurbishing. If that's the case why are you charging full fare. If I order a steak at a restaurant and they run out they don't serve me a hamburger and still charge me the price of the steak. The staff were very friendly and have heard these complaints before. They handled the complaints well.

I experienced a concerning electrical issue in my room that I reported to staff immediately. There was a loud crackling sound coming from the outlet area, which made me worried about a potential electrical hazard or fire risk. I informed the front desk right away and was told the issue would be taken care of. However, when I returned several hours later, nothing had been addressed and the problem was still occurring. After raising the concern again with the late-night manager and explaining how serious it seemed, an electrician was finally called. In the meantime, fans were brought to the room as a temporary solution, but they weren’t helpful since the outlets themselves were not working. At one point the manager attempted to troubleshoot the outlet herself using a metal utensil, which was concerning given the situation. I actually had to stop her because it could have been dangerous. The issue was eventually fixed, but the delay in addressing what seemed like a serious electrical problem made the experience stressful and left me feeling unsafe in the room. I was very close to checking out and finding another hotel because of it. I was also disappointed with the bathroom setup, as the shower design causes the entire bathroom floor to get wet whenever it’s used. The location is great, but unfortunately the way this situation was handled really impacted my stay. I hope management takes safety concerns like this more seriously in the future and follows up appropriately.

Clean room and great location to wharf

I seldom wrote hotel review, but I couldn’t helped this times. The hotel was the dirtiest one I ever stayed, worst than a motel on the side of the highway where you stayed for a nite for convenience. Almost everything was broken, the shower & the towel handles came off when you touched them.

Perfect for Mardi Gras prep

I had a good stay at this hotel overall. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, which made check-in smooth. The location is convenient, and the room was clean with nice touches like a big TV and a smart toilet (similar to the ones in Japan), which I really appreciated. A couple of things could be improved: the soundproofing wasn’t great since my room was close to a major highway, and the noise from cars was noticeable at times. Also, there were way too many pillows on the bed, which felt a bit unnecessary. The room size was fine for me as a solo traveler, but I think it would feel a bit tight for two people. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for solo travelers looking for a clean, comfortable place with modern amenities.

We had a couple of unresolved issues which we will deal with when home. The room was not representative of the pictures, the bed base was torn, side cabinets worn, the gas hob dangerous..too many to mention. It certainly didn't come under the "premium" category. The staff were uninterested, lacking enthusiasm. Bottom line, stay away from this hotel as it is not nice and ruined a part of our holiday because we had to find alternative accommodation. We can recommend 'The Meriton' where we stayed prior to the Yehs and that's where we returned. The two hotels have the same star rating, but are at opposite ends of the scale. Take my advice and say 'NO' to the Yehs because it is a shoddy dump.

Room was great, amenities were great, only objection was the pillows or lack thereof.
