We stayed at the Arbutus Inn for one night and had a great experience. The location is very convenient — it’s in a quiet area, yet close to major transportation routes and not far from downtown Victoria. This made getting around very easy. The room had everything we needed, and the microwave was especially helpful during our stay. We were also very impressed with the staff — they were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. Overall, everything was perfect, and we would definitely recommend this place!

Bad part of town, next door had a fight at 2 am, plus lots of noise and sirens on the street,had a terrible sleep as a result. Other than that rooms are recently renovated and staff was good

Room was clean and washroom newer with tiles…there was a fridge/freezer, microwave and small coffee maker but not a kitchen. The staff were pleasant. My room overlooked a rental car yard which was noisy at times….but overall a great experience.

The beds are super comfortable, pillows are kind of small but I had a great sleep. Carpets in the hallways are a little smelly but you can’t beat the price per night and it’s a very secure building.

The Arbutus inn was exactly as advertised. A well kept budget friendly hotel. The staff were pleasant and efficient, the room was updated, the bathroom was up to date. If you are looking for a five star with concierge services and a waterpark this is not the place, if you want clean, close to downtown, and affordable this is exactly that.

The Arbutus inn was very nice. The staff was super friendly and even let us check in early and upgraded us to a better room on a higher level. The hotel is very conveniently located close to the downtown core and malls. The room was pleasantly renovated and very clean. There is free wifi and free on site parking, which is really nice as a lot of hotels don't have on site parking. We had a great stay at the Arbutus Inn.
