Everything was perfect for a family ski vacation. Location, quality of the building and rooms, bedding was amazing - I can’t think of anything that needed improving.

Great room -- very clean, spacious, modern. Very well-equipped kitchen (best I've ever seen in a rental). Self check-in, so there is no management staff on premises -- but they were quick to respond to text messages. We forgot a bunch of hanging clothes when we left, and had to make arrangements for them to be picked up by a friend and brought to us in Golden -- guest services was very accommodating and helpful to make it happen. Only complaint is that the door to an adjoining room allowed noise to come through -- loud talking and laughter from next door was clearly audible at times.

Everything was incredibly clean, very comfortable, the only reason I even gave a 4 star for the staff is because I didn’t even see any staff, we just had quick correspondence via text message! That’s not necessarily a bad thing however.
I’d gladly stay at base camp again!

Be warned- there are TWO Basecamp places in Revelstoke- we only stayed at the downtown location but friends ended up at the other one at the other end of town. The downtown one is managed by the other so you won’t have a front desk or staff around should you need anything. The space is comfortable and the location is ideal. Parking is super convenient. There is not much insulation between the units so if you are a light sleeper- it may not be ideal but it didn’t bother us. The top floor hot tub is fun and social. We will stay here again!

When asking for an earlier check-in than 4pm, we were told over the phone that we would receive a message when the room was done being cleaned. We ended up just parking outside an hour prior to checkin due to a storm, and did not receive any messages. The room was clearly done being cleaned even earlier than that, as no one came in/out of the room in the time that we were sitting outside. Although it sounds like a minor inconvenience, we really would have liked to settle in after a long day of driving. The room itself was clean and the check-in process was easy.

Okay. Not having a front desk can be a problem for a lot of ppl. Check-in wasn't all that smooth. Unit had multiple flights of stairs, even within the unit. Not ideal when travelling with someone older.
