We took the bus, Hop On Hop Off, and we're very happy to see all of the sites. The restaurants close to our hotel we're excellent and so are the shops. Everything we saw was wonderful and all the people were very friendly and accommodating. We couldn't have asked for a better trip.

Quaint place, on a quiet street in an excellent location. Only thing missing is a small bar fridge to keep personal drinks cold as there’s no restaurant here or ice bucket etc.

The AC didnt work but we assume that it should normally be cooler here in Quebec anyway. It was pretty warm. They did privide a fan which helped.

Great overnight hotel choice pre-cruise. Clean room/bathroom & comfortable and clean bed. Very good location to walk the old city. Only drawback is check-in is electronic at 4 PM. With a morning flight arrival, it would have been nice to get a “room ready” text after cleaning is done so guests can possibly check in a little earlier.

No front desk or person. No elevator. It is close to the Frontenac hotel and within 2-3 blocks of other streets and activities. No parking available. The maid was very nice and hospitable.

Ending up in a basement, with a steep flight of steps was a poor start to our Quebec vacation. The toilet paper for example was thinner that tissue paper. Cheap! Front entrance had NO railing to assist anyone trying to get in, with or without, luggage.

Liked the close to the waterfront. Didn't like the lack of attention to the dirt, mould , broken down showers, rust stains and water bubbles in the walls, the complete lack of attention to the garden/patio area.

Amazing hotel!! The art as like being in a museum. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was continental, had a croissant & cappacino. I met the owner, such a gracious gentleman. I was going to buy a pair of sunglasses, he gave them to me. Bed was comfortable, huge king suite. Nice soaker tub with separate shower. Good location

Disorganized. We were texted with roo details. When we arrived at the hotel, there was another couple also assigned that room and already in there. This was a little chaotic. We were moved to a room upstairs. There is no elevator in this hotel and even though I had requested a ground floor room and was assigned a ground floor room we ended up on the second floor.. Communication was strictly by text. The beds were comfortable. The shower was great! The bathroom is very small, but our room was a decent size. We had issues with our AC. Staff were very helpful to try to get this issue resolved…. Good location. This hotel would not be recommended for anyone with Mobility issues..

I stayed at Château de Pierre in room #2 on the second floor, and my experience was both unsafe and deeply disappointing. On August 31, another person forcibly entered my room using an access code from the hotel’s system. Even though my door was closed and chained, they were able to unlock it with a code and push hard enough to break the chain. I immediately contacted customer service and was given a new code, but later discovered that both the old and new codes still worked. This meant that unauthorized individuals still had access to my room. I no longer felt safe and had to place physical barriers against the door just to sleep. What made this situation worse is that, despite speaking twice with customer service and being assured that management would contact me, no one ever followed up. I even sent an additional message, which was completely ignored. There is also no physical presence of a receptionist at the hotel at all, leaving guests completely unsupported in emergencies. This was a serious security breach, and the lack of response from management shows a disregard for guest safety and customer care. Until they take immediate corrective action, I cannot recommend this property.
